Tbh there was also responsibility on the white guy to see that England wasn’t that interested. You know? He didn’t lie about his looks, he didn’t scam him, he was "just" emotionally unavailable. They don't really "pop up". Nev and Max pop up, but the catfish is paid to appear before Nev and Max have even figured it out. They act nervous because they are, but it's not a total surprise because they already talked to the investigative crew beforehand. This show wouldn't be on air if they popped up to people's houses and put them on blast unblurred.
