Hey coach! I have a question. I am a 14 year old boy, in 8th grade basketball, and is 5'10. Everytime I shoot, I airball it or it hits the rim. I was wondering if you could make a video to help me shoot more balls with accuracey? Thank you!

For the first one, can you also just pivot off the drop foot and go right into cutting left with your right foot crossing the defender versus that extra hop switch foot before the blow by?

When would be the best time to use this? Off a fast break would be my first guess
@mattc72327 жыл бұрын
All of these moves can be used in the half court as well. Anytime you make a move to attack and your defender cuts you off is when you pull out these secondary/safety moves. Plus this video does a great job of showing you how to do them without carrying or traveling.

You shouldn't dribble too much in 5 on 5 because of help defense.

nice one sir but i guess it should be better when you have an opponent in front of you while you are doing your moves/steps so that we can be able to recognize what the defender will do......

Coach I want to know how to make it to the NBA but the problem is I'm from a foreign country
@BallerBootCamp7 жыл бұрын
Be the best player in your country for your age and you'll have a chance. I know that's not what you wanted to hear, but that's pretty much the way to do it.
@omarlotfy24187 жыл бұрын
Baller Boot Camp so do you mean I got to work hard to be the best then everything will start to get better ? Well I'm a 16 years old 5'10" power forward , what skills would make me shine ? I'm great in finishing around the rim good ball handler and still working on it but I got no range in shooting so what are the most important skills that would make me amazing ? thanks coach ✌😄
@ballinboxer36767 жыл бұрын
hate to break it to you bro but being a 16-year old 5'10" PF probably means you're never going to the NBA. You can probably be a pro somewhere else if you really want to. Also, you just said you have no range in shooting so work on that. Don't wait for somebody to tell you to improve your shooting.
