I rarely comment, but I'd like to say that I agree that the between the legs is one of the most effective moves for blowing by defenders. I use the intial variation of the move alot. Also this video was very informative. It's nice to be reminded of some familiar variations and learn some new ones as well. I'll definitely be trying them out. Keep up the good work!

How is 5:45 not a travel? I'm still new to basketball I'm sorry. And also is doing a hop on your left foot and also landing on your left foot(kind of like a hesitation move) to attempt to blow by your defender, a travel?
@griffinpeterson98368 жыл бұрын
darkyinyang1 No but if move your other foot at the same time it is
@avancons18 жыл бұрын
So if I do the left foot hop it's counted as the second step?
@griffinpeterson98368 жыл бұрын
darkyinyang1 after you do the move you have to dribble right after
@Dewabarasunderan8 жыл бұрын
I'd say it's a travel. At least in Europe they'd call it.
@Abundant.Purpose8 жыл бұрын
the first time he did it it was a travel because he had to do it slowly for a demonstration when he does it quickly his hand is above the ball so they wouldn't call it in Europe

Hey Augie. I have a problem with my basketball skills. Usually when i have the ball and someone is guarding me. Usually it's hard for me to get past them and they can play hard defense on me and steal the ball easily. I try using good crossovers, but they can still guard me easily. I believe they are strong enough to body me or I'm not strong enough to body them off. So, I usually try getting open and shots when no one is guarding me. When someone is guarding me, i usually pass or call for a screen. I need to improve on that
@brianmahoneyjr23708 жыл бұрын
@gboy7 warriors... Building your strength will improve your ball security, but there are other techniques that will also help. Work on creating space with your dribble and attacking your defender with quick and simple dribble moves like in and out or basic crossover. Be sure to stay low and drive hard. Once you get by a couple times for an easy layup they will give you more space to work with.
@setefanopahulu82328 жыл бұрын
I'm hard to guard cis I surprise them with a hero step or even a floater I'm bad shooter but great a lay ups so I use floaters to put the ball in the hoop or I use a nice that protects the ball but but it in the hoop eg. hook shot or a fade away to get past defenders I turn the ball into a bait then when they reach out I grap it and blow by while they been cought off guard but if u have a quick release then your cross over is the best weapon u have

Very good break down on the moves it was really useful. However would be better if you could improve on the following: 1.Use a tripod for the camera its shaking too much distracting the viewer. 2.demonstrate the move from different point of view. 3.The focus of the camera at times wasn't adjusted properly. 4.You are breathless towards the end of the video regardless still liked and subscribed
