On my main account, I'm level 65, grinding to get to the Amazon maze... it gets boring. What I've found that helps me is not doing what everyone else is doing. Marron River for instance. Everyone fishes for catfish, but the real fun for me is the tambaqui/brycon on float fruits and catching red bass. They are great fun and even pretty decent money for a day's fishing. The takeaway from my comment... make your own missions and focus on them for a while. The cash/exp will happen before you know it.

i made a lot of mistakes that just sour'd my mood on my account so i wanted to restart, I contacted support they didn't help any i didn't want to create a new steam so i stopped playing altogether i am fine with CotW and hopefully the angler turns out to be as fun as fishing planet was i may hop on fishing planet for halloween and christmas but we'll see until then i am fine watching you play fishing planet lol

I'm only lvl 15 and can't imagine restarting. I just started (at lvl 14) fishing at Emerald Lake snagging tons of walleye. I have no clue what I need to do to catch the other fish for the quests, but eventually I'll figure it out. Loving the game so far. I'm super eager for the Angler coming out soon and will play that game too. I see lots of fishing in my future. World of Warcraft Who? More like World of Fishing 😀

not everyone wants to start over because they failed in some way , a lot of people want to start over just to restart from the beginning to replay stuff you didn't do the first time

But what are you talking about because you can just go back and do anything without restarting your whole game. The only thing that is really important is level. Just buy some basic equipment and go back to Lonestar.

I'd see myself doing a variety on option 4 at some time: Sell all your gear, buy something basic, and go from there. It's not really restarting, but it clears up your inventory at least.

Whatever you do people, DON'T: go into the Steam account options, ask it to forget your game and all DLC, deinstall your game and reinstall it. That's what I just did. And not only will it not reset your game as I hoped, it will make you lose all your DLC, money and baitcoins. So I'm now at over -1.000.000 dollar in debt to the game and can only go to Lonestar. Basically, broken my account altogether. :(

Im at 85 when i was lower and had bought anything it can be pretty slow and very grindy but i made smart purchases as in premium and congo and then got into a club and made a huge difference...in the event you dont want to buy anything make sure you aoend in game money wisely and look for videos to help with farming money and xp

I had to restart since i went from PC to Xbox. But I am doing things very different this time. I fish ror what i enjoy fishing for. If i want to spend a week fishing for catfish that doesn't pay well I'll do that. 100 pounds of panfish? I'm in. It still makes me money. And I'm not getting bored from money/xp farm xyz.

I'm an old-school gamer. I have bought a permanent Advanced License to the Everglades. I have fished Everglades from level 35 to level 42 almost exclusively. I have maxed out all my non-rod/tackle gear. Best vest. Best Kayak. Best Rod Stand. Best keep net. I have not gone beyond one trip to Michigan to attempt Northern Pike Farming, but I have watched many "Money/XP Farm" videos, and nothing is as consistent as the Everglades for quick money.

Ah! Yeah, the bass can be pretty lucrative at the Glades. But we've shown in a couple videos (search "science" if you're interested) where we compare Sturgeon farming to Pike farming, and we were making like... $15,000 every 5 minutes with Sturgeon or something like that. Pretty crazy money given that's around $180,000 for an hour of gameplay.

@@BoAngles I know Northern Pike pay more than the bass at the Everglades, but I was not set up correctly when I went to Michigan and from a day of fishing, two floats, and a casting rod, I barely made enough to pay for the trip. I will be better prepared next trip.

I'm so glad they brought this game to Android, I've been looking for a decent game for android for YEARS, I'm currently at level 29 and just made it to the Everglades I think imma farm the bass then at level 34 imma go straight to Michigan to catch up I'm so far behind thanks to Neherrin and Emerald so unfortunately I'll skip White Moose and Louisiana which I been excited for and come back, your videos are a big help and I thought of restarting due to being so far back

I spent all my money and did option 4. Lol ground out Lonestar till I could afford to go to emerald . Ground out emerald till I could go to the everglades with a bass caster set up and now about to be level 43...and still broke. Lol maybe by level 70 I'll learn to have $200,000 before spending $100,000 but I doubt it. One thing I know I can learn though and this is serious My TV feel and broke I'm stuck playing remotely on a 10in tablet. My eyesight is poor and I can't read the writing...can someone please tell me how to clip your line on Xbox one. I can't find a video on it anywhere

Most likely the reel has a low recovery, which isn't lifting the lure up well enough. You may have to increase your reel speed to 3+ to get the same speed as 2 on another reel.

Option 3 works better cause your on a new account. Plus on the bright side. You never lost or old account. Maybe down the road you will thank yourself that I didn't go with option 1.. But going with option 2 works too. Take a break and come back at a later time, play a different game in which I would recommend giving russian fishing 4 a try, Game is the most realistic and you will need to hunt your fish in which the correct tackle is def required to get fish. Large water body to explore and you wall around find a spot and cast a line. Or go on boat and troll for fish. River fishing is an option too.. The sad part for us American people, we like our Bass.. and many American fish. sadly there is almost no American fish in the game but the game is great fun. I clocked over 3k hours in 2 accounts. I been playing since 2018. I done 100's of russian fishing 4 videos and streams. Newbie guides as well. So my suggestion.. Option 3, 2 and 4... Don't bother with option 1. Cause what if they did reset your account. You loose everything including most likely your bought DLC's.... rods and reels.. that would suck and real money used was wasted..

So i just relized that my licence is about to end at st croix and i had 4k money in i taought its all ok bc ill earn 4 more k with fish and when i switched tge day i relized about the 2k that costs to switch days and i had 6k after that then i gambled in hopes to not get sued and i did get sued and now i was back to 0 but i relised if i have 0 money i have nothing to get sued for:D Edit:but sadly i only have 50kg jail so its gonna be hard to earn 10k with 50k of fish so yeah im in a really sticky situation rn

I'm at lvl 38 and before this week i had not played since 2015 because i got burned out. I like Rocky Lake but Falcon is wayyyy better and has more Emerald and Everglades are good farming too, don't waste your time at Neherrin or Mudwater they are not good farming, I would spend your 20's at the Everglades then at level 30 go to Michigan, great farming there

@treyonhundo Experiment with different baits/hooks on a float setup (if you are really lost, just stay with the smaller sizes first.. 10,8,6).. Lone Star doesn't cost you money.. so don't rush.. just go to peak times and try different baits with each hook size.. you'll find what the fish like-dislike pretty quick. Depending on the some factors I find you can catch pan-fish with the correct baits and make reasonable money. The trick is to experiment to find the different combos that give you great hits for the fish you are hunting. And keep track of how much money you make in a typical day for the combo you find. This is how I learned.

You can try, but your best bet is to set an alarm on your phone and make sure to log in once a day for a week. You should have the money to buy starting gear at that point.

I'm now lvl41 on this account. I had a problem, let my rod get broken , and had to go back to lone star to grind some money to go to emerald, then I kept that rod in my home base, than bought a rod and grinded the money and went to white moose. Painful grind , but somehow enjoyable too. Don't restart the game , just fish. Actually it is a game about fishing and enjoy it. :)

The fisherman is a ripoff to be short and sweet- costs you money to buy it, is not supported and only has locations up to blue crab island. Then you can’t even transfer your character over to the other game. It’s just a huge waste of time

I explained this elsewhere. The point is- it’s not possible to restart your game. But when you get on KZbin because you’re in a sucky situation in fishing planet, you’re not looking up “how to push forward out of a sucky situation in fishing planet” you’re going to look up “how to restart”
