Based on their Instagram aesthetics, in the beginning, I was expecting my order to be Zach, Brandon, Jessica, Jon. Zach's had more nature-y, deep looking photos. Brandon's used lights and colors really really well. Jessica's looked more... I don't wanna say typical, but more like something you would find on a magazine cover. Jon's just used a lot of rainbow and white together, which just isn't my thing. Instead, my order ended up as Brandon, Zach, Jessica Jon. So pretty close, but for different reasons. Brandon's were very aesthetically pleasing and I really enjoyed that they looked interesting and sharp. I especially liked the 2nd and 3rd shoots, but I just liked those settings better in general, so there's that. I think he knows how to use light really well to make for visually captivating pictures. Of all the pictures they each took in their own chosen setting, his is easily my favorite hands down. He made her look like a freaking queen. Zach was really good too. I liked his 1st and 4th shoots and I just loved his use of the water in the 2nd shoot, but in the 3rd he just didn't perform. The pose was a bit simple, combined with the background and outfit not matching up with each other in my opinion. The ones that incorporated nature more like his Instagram were more confident looking. He seemed more comfortable there, so props to him for attempting the street setting anyway. Jessica was hit or miss. I liked her 2nd and 3rd shoots (*loved* the pose in the second), but not her first or last. The first just wasn't up to the par of the others, though I could tell it was very much her style, while the last I would've liked to see closer up, maybe waist-up? and without as much space over her head. Besides that, I really liked her photos. She was one of the most consistently true to her Instagram aesthetic IMO. Jon's were... Glowy. Not in an oh-you-are-glowing-you-look-amazing way but more in a way that makes it look like it's not real. The 1st pic looked like a painting, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It was just very over-edited looking to me. The 4th one was his worst in my opinion, as he somehow managed to make her look a bit cartoony. My guess is it's supposed to look kind of whimsical. he did tone it down for the 3rd shoot though. I fully respect that that is his style, but it is not for me. It was intriguing to me that that is not how his Instagram comes off at all. Both are not my personal style, but in different ways. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

The videos was showing how the same "thing" or person can be shot by different people and not look the same. Its completely changed so doing the same "thing" as long as you're not blatantly copying can have different outputs.
