We travel to Port A every few months in Texas. Over that time we have done so much fishing, tried so many restaurants and done lots of shopping!

I have the same pole. Turquoise and pink. Love it! I bought it at Port A Outfitters. Headed there again next week. I really think I need to live there and be a beach bum.

I used to go to Virginia's alot in the 90's into about 2008 when I divorced. I like the outdoor vibe. But what I miss the most is saving some food and going out to the steps by the elevator at the entrance with my kids and calling for the cat that was always under there year after year and feeding it some good stuff. Great memories there. Miss the waiting benches inside. Last time I was there was late August, 2019. Without my kids I forgot about the cat but it was pricier than ever. I figure it was to recover from the hurricane damage. But the food wasn't nearly as good as it use to be. Their clam chowder used to be creamy velvety but just wasn't as good.

I always go to Port A on vacation. I LOVE it there!!!!!! I like stopping by Paul's. I usually stay at the Best Western and there's this little pizza place it's amazing

If you go to port a much you should try fishing at Charlie's pasture, we will be in port A for the whole month of December this year. Monthly house rentals aren't too bad there in the winter off season.

Cody's was horrible. Burned fish and tried to cover it with a sauce that tasted like old grease. Literally the fish was "black" burnt. It is a bar that has to serve some semblance of food. Definitely a thumbs down for me.
