Hello, & good morning, I stumbled across your video, & you were going through ur new file folder reviews on your print choices, they all are so nice, but let me say, the one file folder that you did not like, I simply LOVED, as a crafter, I'm new to paper crafts, wen I created a craft, And I did not like something, it ended up being my VERY BEST seller at my craft shows, so don't be hard on yourself with ur new journey with ideas u don't like, you'll be surprised to know they could be ur best seller, I for one, simply LOVED that pattern you put together, keep doing what you DO BEST ❤❤❤, I have now subscribed to ur channel.

Thank you Sara for sharing the midori insert pocket tutorial. I can't wait to get started on one. Vellum has a mind of it's own. It seems to want to curl or roll. I think your band will hold it in place in the midori. Hugs!

Hi Stacy. She's pretty quiet for a conure. I know sun conures are loud for sure. My first bird was a half moon, but he was wild caught and I had no experience so we gave him back to the store and got a hand fed baby. I have a few videos on inserts. Have fun. Ttyl Sara

its not the vellum, I had one bow with cardstock. the difference is if you glue it while it is still halfway folded,(at 90degree angel) as opposed to leaving the paper flat when glueing, there is a smidge of difference that produces the bowing effect. you emphasized the tucking of the crease and then glued while it was still folded not flat, I found this out when I made a few following those instructions, and if I tucked the inside crease really well, but opened the folder and then glued it didnt bow. :) fyi, HTH love the video, loved making these, thanks!!

These are just the cutest and your video was so easy to follow. I have mastered the technique you shared and made a bunch of folders using scrapbook paper I had just laying around collecting dust. BUT!! I just got my Buteo Bunker cahier sized trifold a couple days ago so I'm wondering if you had any idea what I should do for dimensions for that?

The inserts for the cover I have are the moleskine cahier size, so basically just a regular size wide. Thank you anyway!!

I think velum just has a mind of its own. It tends to curl up. Maybe you could paperclip the velum to the cover all along the top edge before gluing the sides down, just to make sure the velum is completely flat against the cover? It still may bow. :) Lovely paper choices!
@myserenitycrafts9 жыл бұрын
Lolly Palooza You are right. It has calmed down now that it is dry. Thanks Lolly, Sara

Sarah, you did an excellent job; thanks for sharing! As to the "bowing" it is just the vellum as it is strong paper and pulls it, but when folded the midori works grate, so I think it is excellent as is, because vellum adds much to the folder. What is the size of your inside pages? Best, Linda
