I really like your channel. Much of your content is unique or at least not widely talked about by others. Like this video for instance - I hadn’t come across this topic until now and I’ve been devouring videos on all things Story for well over a year now. I always take notes from your videos too. May I suggest that you reconsider having music in the background? No shade and no offense meant; but I find the music to be a distraction. It adds nothing. Your content speaks loudly enough for itself and doesn’t need a soundtrack. Maybe take a poll or ask people whose opinion you value if the music adds anything to your videos. I think you’ll find many say they could do just fine without it. Thank you and please continue to graciously provide this wonderful content - with or without the soundtrack your videos are great!

Is the midpoint of Act 2 too late to introduce the antagonist? I have a story where the villain is alluded to but not introduced until later. It's a dramatic entrance when finally revealed but it is late in the story.

I think that can work. Better to meet them in the second than the third act. If you think it works, do it.

It can work that way... as long as people have been talking about who the antagonist is. It's okay to meet them later. If they are coming in out of the blue? Probably not so much. So since you're alluding to the antagonist, probably fine.
