As a moderate fitness nut, I never really considered an E-bike. However, we just returned from an RV trip to northern Idaho/Montana. We rented E-bikes to ride the Hiawatha trail, a 30 mile round trip. What a blast! I used no assist on the downhill leg and low to moderate assist on the uphill return. The E-bikes allowed us to do the round trip in reasonable time and we got a decent workout as well. We're now researching E-bikes to purchase. Fantastic trail and incredible views. Highly recommend!

I ride a Karate Monkey (regular) and my wife rides a Turbo Levo. So now we can go riding together on rides that are about 15 miles off road (where we won’t get run over by a texting driver). We don’t ride at a race pace, we just enjoy being outdoors. And I’m definitely going to get a Turbo Levo SL when I can’t keep up with her. There are all kinds of reasons to love a class 1 ebike and I would love to see the unreasonable regulations stop. It just like all the rules against mountain bikes in the 1990’s. I pretty much agree with all you said.

I absolutely love my 2021 Specialized Stumpjumper and getting passed by E-bikes on my uphill climbs doesn’t bother me. To each his own! 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸

Found your channel for Jeep content and see we raced in the Idyllwild Spring Challenge the same year, haha. I won the Clydesdale class in 2010. Small world.

Thank you for the efforts you've put to produce this informative and enjoying video.Really inspiring me to work harder to own one.Aiming for Levo SL too even though the price is super expensive here in Malaysia.

An e-bike is certainly something for me to think about. I have a road bike and a hybrid bike and I ride often, but not everyday. They have been important tools in my staying fit and reducing the side effects of diabetes, which I’ve had for more than 50 years. The major problem I have riding as a diabetic is the need to carefully plan for each ride and the constant need to monitor blood sugar levels as biking has a significant impact on lowering it, sometimes faster than I would like. I think an e-bike would be a great way to extend the length of a ride in terms of both time and distance, though not necessarily having an impact on the planning and monitoring. However, it seems that it might make it easier to manage the process. Will you review a few models any time soon? Thanks.

It's fun to coast around and not pedal. Like an open air car.

I used to love riding bikes. I am out of shape now and in my 50's. I think E-bikes are awesome. I am wary of riding anywhere around here on one because I've heard stories of the Spandex Mafia being jerks to people riding them on the trails or even on the road. Such a large percentage of the bike crowd are such douche-bags that it is very off-putting to people who would otherwise like to get out and ride. I live in a very outdoorsy destination so perhaps it isn't as bad elsewhere.
