Just curious about preparation for meetings. Some of the meetings I conduct require preparation from participants. I send presentations, agendas, yet they do not have impact I want. Curious how other people are successful at this.

The meetings I have to go to are sooooo boring! We go around the room and drone on about our current metrics. I fight sleep so hard. When each manager goes over their numbers the others just twiddle their thumbs until it their turn to talk. It is so bad. I dread them!

So 30% of my time to these team meetings. 15% for my team and 15% for the team i belong on. Add the project team meetings and ad hoc and corporate meetings, my job is 100% meetings.
