Does he pay them as if they own a J-O-B, or does he pay them as if they own a part of the company?

I'd want to know if the owner paid for any of her own/family's expenses before figuring "profit."

Dunning Kruger effect. Where people with a limited competence in a particular domain overestimate their abilities. It sounds like this kid is competent at his trade, and is then thinking he is a highly competent businessman. Two different, separate, skills. It is good that he is learning by ringing up Dave Ramsay. Hopefully he continues learning and improving his knowledge and business skills.

But Dave, WHY? My company always hired from the outside for any manager job so once you got to be a superior you just trained the next manager. NOT the old manager. They were already gone for 3 months to their next job. But we weren't worth anything. My supervisor retired 3 years after I started. I ran our department for a year and a half after he left. Then they hired a guy from the outside. When I ask why I wasn't considered they said that because I was the only woman in the department with men who were in tbeir 50's and 60's that they didn't feel the men would respect me. I got along great with all the guys. Then they ask me to train the guy. I turned in my resignation 6 weeks later. Then they offered me the supervisors job in another all male department with all guys in their 60's. I declined and moved on. Best decision. The next company was a great match and I ended up at the corporate office.

Stop giving loans to every kid who wants one. Only so many loans for each field based on the number of each job in the economy, the best students get the loans. Everyone else can enter the job market, go through a vocational program or apprenticeship. Not that hard to figure out.

I’m 39 and- practically- broke compared to this kid who’s 23, married, works in the family and makes 6 figures. Kid you made it! Just chill and be patient. You’ll hit your stride around mid 30s. Men’s’ prime are 30s and 40s.

I agree with tarrifs but to an extent or an extreme in some cases. No foreign made product or service should ever be sold cheaper here then what we sell it for. They have to atleast match the price of the american made product of equal value that is attempting to practice actual free market trade outside of these foreign countries using slave labor and other tactics to get their prices down. Also if there is no competition for a foreign product in the U.S. u could go for a flat tarrif presumably milder then what other tarrifs might be otherwise. Tariffs should be in place to make U.S. companies grow not make the government rich.

The real problem these bozo don’t get … the vast majority of these loans went to people who were only going after certificates, not 2 year or 4 year degrees, getting ripped off by diploma mills like ITT. … $15000 for a 12 week course to become a CNA paying maybe $10 per hour with no benefits. Yeh I get it, I paid my 4 year college debt off, both my kids paid off their loans

Those same corporations he’s giving tax breaks to are the same corporations that moved their businesses overseas to maximize profits how about no tax cuts unless they move manufacturing here instead of stupid tariffs that will only send us into crazy inflation
