There are basically a few main reasons why tiles crack. The tiles are either weak, the way that the tiles were set down is weak, or the subfloor beneath the actual tiles is weak. I tell you how to identify what the likely problem is, and ways to prevent the tiles from cracking again once you have laid new tiles down on the floor!

Don’t use cheap thin tiles, make sure your application of mortar is good, make sure your subfloor is strong and there is no weakness in the overlap.
