I forgot secret reason number 5: You are not using a CineCamera. What I mean by this is use depth of field and play with the focal lenght.

This is great! Another thing I think makes for poor metahuman creation is lack of vision going in. This was my problem for a long time. I didn't know what I wanted which made either very ugly metahumans or ones that felt uncanny. Having a story or character sheet goes a long way. And remember that you can always just start over. Don't settle on the character if it's not working. Start over and work with it. Another thing to note that I'm implementing in the pipeline for my latest project is to only intricately animate the frames that matter. It can be daunting to tweak an entire performance so do your blocking and camera passes, settle on your lighting, and then add those little animation details where you will notice them.

I got my methauman all set up all good from scan to meta human but the eye lashes that come in the creator look way too long, how can I shorten them and also th skin texture is not accurate of mine, how can I use real photos to add likeness to my metahuman! Sorry for loaded question, love your content keep up the good work, you helped me get my UE5 hat on.

@@cro0w The creator has an option to select your eyelash size. As for the texture that is pretty hard to do unless you are good doing game character textures

@@MR3DDev Where does the creator show that? You can change the type of eyelashes and some texturing stuff but not the lenght. I just want to fiund the texture map and add a few moles and texture with photoshop I just don't know where. If you could do a basic lesson on "cuztomize any asset"would be awesome!

Well there are options up to $50k, so yes, PN is among the affordable.

you nailed it. even if you have the best equipment you won't get a good result without a touch-up. so instead of investing money on devices invest money on learning stuff
