4" Scale Clayton Undertype Steam Wagon at Leyland Society of Model Engineers

In this video we take a look at a 4" scale Clayton Undertype Steam Wagon at the Leyland Society of Model Engineers. My friend recently acquired this Clayton and has just finished getting it back to working order. New tubes, new safety valves, new whistle, many hours hard work, so let's join him down for a ride around Worden Park.

You can get scale steam waggon or even an AEC Matador body kit to go over a mobility scooter. Not cheap though

Bit different to the normal traction engines or Foden wagons! Vertical boiler Clayton!! Good fun too!!

That's an impressive little vehicle, a daft question but is 4' scale 4" to the foot ? It looks smaller than that.

Yeah time in the workshop, I got about 30mins earlier! I seem to be spending more time at the packing table than anywhere else! I have no idea about what design it is 🤷‍♂️. Pneumonia or covid?? Covid is going mad round this way.... apparently. Get well soon, Matt 👍
