If that person cheats God just gave you a huge sign that person is not for you. If they don't have a mutual interest or excitement about you as you do them than don't settle. I don't mean they have to jump up and down every time they see u but just each other's presence is meaningful

Another sign is that if you often end up disagreeing with that person on many issues, that person is not right for you. I am not just referring to moral issues, and spiritual issues. I am also referring to things like outlook on life, worldview and views about Christian living.

I needed to hear this encouragement. Numbers 3 and 4 are especially relevant to me. I'm definitely going through a prolonged season of saying no to guys who are not walking with the Lord and are otherwise not right for me. As I was just saying to my family, it's so frustrating to know that guys find me attractive but it's never anyone that I can be with. It's God's protection while he works out his perfect timing. Amen! As for number 4, recently I foolishly agreed to a date with someone who I knew wasn't walking with God. I just wanted to stop feeling abnormal for a while and remember what it's like to be on a date again. I felt the Spirit trying to talk some sense into me but I was telling myself "I'm not going to be drawn into any sin, it's just an experience." Well, during the date, the guy revealed undeniably that he was completely incompatible for me and my faith and he had other things going on in his life that I want no parts of. I couldn't wait to get out of there and thank God for his wisdom and his commandments that keep us safe and eventually bring us the most joy in our lives.

It was indeed very interesting, God or the holy ghost did came into my dreams at night, showed me a huge revealation, the image was holy ghost showed me that this man I was seeing for a little bit (informally) was a "drug addict" in my dream, "shooting up some hard drugs" and his whole entire fmaily is the same way. That is very telling, then, in the end of the dream, i hurried to grab my shoes to leave their house, then I realized my shoes that I put on was full of thorns. and I made a decision, had not made a contact with that young man since.

Awesome videos! Truth is, I thought I liked someone and they liked me as well, until I spoke in my heart to God, I don't want another test. He instantly revealed that the other person is into someone else's. Of course I'd cry a lot as soon as I knew that. I was in shock, and felt betrayed. That person apologize for sending a wrong signal but why didn't he say no when I confess? And here God revealed why I shouldn't be with the person I liked so much in the past. He don't want me to settle for less. Now I'm back being me and gladly able to love myself, even more than I do when I have feelings for someone else. I also have more time thinking about God's blessings than counting days I dreamed of a marriage. I do want to marry someday but for now, I'll just have to let it go. I'm currently doing this with a person in my past. God has answered my prayers shifting this person's mindset and somehow is answering previous issues with current solutions that we have never had. Although we aren't rushing we are taking a new approach allowing God to speak to us throughly, seeking how he would want us to seek him, But you constantly have people's opinions come in and razzle your thoughts. How can you be sure? I don't think you can until its the right timing and there's constant favor from God confirming doubtful concepts. You can definitely be tricked into thinking something isn't right for you. But points 2 & 3 are really true.

In watching this video I can only come to one conclusion... I realized that I tell myself no a lot more. When I see a girl that’s attractive and I feel my flesh creeping up on me, I hear the Holy Spirit Tell me “No, she’s not a believer.” This is normally reinforced by their actions, and it helps me to want to be equally yolked. But in hearing No, it snaps me out of the infatuation of her beauty. I still fight my flesh. I try hard not to flirt or be on dating sites(which, thank God I haven’t been for a long time) that will lead me to be with a none believer. The big question for me is always, “Do they truly follow and believe in Jesus Christ? Is their mission aligned with mine?” So far, having this decrement helps me stay on track of my singleness and be patient for the spouse that God has for me.

1:44 Don't just assume that you are miss hearing God or you are getting nervous for no reason. I want to add feeling uncomfortable for no reason. Today I sat down and re-evaluated the friendships that I do have. I realised that I felt uncomfortable around them because they're closed minded people. It took me having to sleep over at their place for a couple of days (almost 2 weeks) due to issues I am dealing with in my own place, to finally realise why this was the case. Give it some time and you'll see people for who they're. People can pretend to look good for so long before the little small things they do, that are not good, start to add up.

Met someone new and things are going well, however, this reminds me of not to settle for people in the past. Before then, I was dating around, was close to settling for someone I just didn’t click with, but backed out. My other dates and I didn’t click, except for that one that I happen to keep going out with. I’ve been anxious due to past trauma (especially due to PTSD) and we definitely have our own flaws, our own sins and temptations, but I feel like either way will remind us not to settle for people in our past or people we just don’t feel a connection towards

Hi Mark, Points 2 and 3 have been true and points of struggle lately (for 2, need wisdom to know if I'm setting my standards too high and what the right point to "settle" for a particular person looks like; for 3, I've been receiving more interest from a non believer lately. While I am loyal to God and want to marry the available cute Christian girl (which seems almost like a mythical creature at this point), I find that some have been too guarded (sticking in groups, refusing to even give going out a shot) and some have been living double lives while just keeping the title Christian. In cases like this it's particularly tempting to ignore the commands like not being unequally yoked with non believers when they're good from a human standpoint and there's no guarantee that the "Christian" is any better (they might even have some sin and be odd as they don't have any practical experience dating -- and how can they have any?-- when they close themselves off). Pray for wisdom, patience and any guidance would be great as well. Lastly, as always thanks for making timely videos

If you are thinking about getting married, it’s good to be realistic and aware that every marriage will have challenges. Paul said that those who marry “will have tribulation in their flesh.” (1 Corinthians 7:28) Even the best marriage will go through difficult times. So if you decide that you want to marry, be sure to choose your mate wisely. As mentioned in the video, there is an important principle to consider when choosing a husband or a wife: “Do not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers.” (2 Corinthians 6:14) This illustration is based on a practice used in farming. If two animals are very different in size or strength, a farmer does not yoke them together to work in the fields. That would not be kind to either animal because both would suffer. In a similar way, a marriage between someone who worships God and someone who does not will likely result in many problems. So the Bible gives us the wise advice to marry “only in the Lord.”-1 Corinthians 7:39. If you are thinking about getting married, look for someone you really like and get along well with. Wait until you find someone who wants to do the same things in life that you want to do and who puts serving God first. Proverbs 31:10, 25-27, 30: “Who can find a capable wife? Her value is far more than that of corals. She is clothed with strength and splendor, And she looks to the future with confidence. She opens her mouth in wisdom. The law of kindness is on her tongue. @@MamaKikiss I'm so sorry to hear that! I feel your pain. I went trough a divorce 2 years ago. She left for someone else and decided not to serve God any longer. Is spite of my sadness, I feel happier than before. I didn't apply biblical principles before but now I do. I can really enjoy the inner peace that God's Word is giving me. My life became so much easier. What I have learned is that deeds have a far greater impact than words on people. “In like manner, you wives, be in subjection to your own husbands, in order that, if any are not obedient to the word, they may be won without a word through the conduct of their wives, because of having been eyewitnesses of your chaste conduct together with deep respect.”​ - 1 Peter 3: 1-2. Very often you can 'win' someone just by doing the right thing, without even saying a word. You know, what is written in the Bible, is really to our benefit. I've known both sides, so I can confirm. Isaiah 48: 17-18 says: "This is what Jehovah says, your Repurchaser, the Holy One of Israel: “I, Jehovah, am your God, The One teaching you to benefit yourself, The One guiding you in the way you should walk. If only you would pay attention to my commandments! Then your peace would become just like a river And your righteousness like the waves of the sea" Some other scriptures that have helped me a lot: Philippians 2: 3-4: "Do nothing out of contentiousness or out of egotism, but with humility consider others superior to you, as you look out not only for your own interests, but also for the interests of others." 1 Cor 10:24: "Let each one keep seeking, not his own advantage, but that of the other person." Col 3: 19: "You husbands, keep on loving your wives and do not be bitterly angry with them" Your good behavior will be seen one day, and for sure, God notices it!
