The sheer irony of starting a comment off by saying “a word from the wise” & then immediately sharing your own personal convictions rather than anything Biblical or truly wise kinda caught me off guard. Perhaps you did not intend it to be, but it comes off as being extremely arrogant & condescending. It seems you are placing your own personal beliefs above others who have been called by the Lord to share wisdom & their testimony for the benefit of others. You do realize that by your own “wise” advice, countless stories & Scriptures could not be told? There are countless examples throughout Scripture where people are called to share their testimony and the goodness of the Lord for the sake of others. There is no need to cut down good people doing good things or to try & curse what God has blessed. I, along with countless others, have all benefited immensely from Sarah & Adam sharing their story & how the Lord is working in their life, so I kind of take it personally when you leave such a toxic & misguided comment. I’m not here to argue or lambast anyone-simply to say that the words Sarah has spoken has been a blessing in my life. Proverbs 18:4 “A person’s words can be life-giving water; words of true wisdom are as refreshing as a bubbling brook.”

Hey get what you are saying...For me in my life its a bit different, I have to deny myself to have God's best. As I go through my singleness I have to let go of somethings that I like which aren't always Godly. You see friends, I truly want God's best but God best always means sacrificing my idea of what the best thing is in-order to get access to his best. Sometimes I still love the thought of not having to do anything but pray and trust God, but in most cases after I have prayed God requires for me to act faithfullh about my prayer...and trusting God is always a faithful step of sacrificing my way for His. So the cost is there for me honestly. I have to pay the cost of forgiving people daily who hurt me long ago. This is hard as I may never get revenge or see them suffer for what they did to me. But giving up vengence is the cost of finding peace. Patience is another cost and sexual purity is more than an extra penny, so I pay the cost there in a world where everything is sexual.

Don't settle. I was anxious and impatient and married the wrong man. I was nearly killed by him. He was a Satanist posing as a believer and you can't make this up. He tried to destroy me any way he could. He divorced me and the Lord clearly told me to let him go!

@@saintmoine7354 I knew deep in my heart not to even date him, much less marry him. I had a warped idea of love, of relationships. I was traumatized by long term childhood abuse. God told me no from day ONE. After he divorced me...I had to repent. Sooo...I am certain God will speak clearly to His children. Plus...we were having premarital sex which allowed the devil access. I learned the hard way. Are you courting? I am courting and I love him. We are getting good, Godly counsel and no sex till marriage. It's the only way.

Two things I'm taking away from this is one being unemployed and need to find a job soon. But I don't know what direction the Lord has me going. I feel like I'm going to have to settle for something just so I will be able to pay the bills. The other thing is I'm in my early 60s and have never been married. Sometimes I get really lonely but I am so used to being alone most of my life. Yes it can be hard sometimes but the Lord keeps telling me to trust Him.

It’s not like I’ve never seen this, God has shown this to me so many times and I keep trying to take control but thank you for putting it into words. I also saw one of your videos with Adam where he says that the Lord told him “Be still. Wait” and he also said that the world will always bring a counterfeit of what God is holding for you and that really changed me. It’s so true. I’m committed to waiting and using this time to pray for that person. I didn’t mean for this to be long, but the point is that you and Adam are truly making a change on peoples lives. I always think of this picture I saw of Jesus with a little girl. She’s clutching this tiny teddy bear in her arms and doesn’t want to let it go and behind Jesus is a HUGE teddy bear. If only she’d surrender the small one, she’d take joy in the much bigger bear that Jesus plans to give her. I don’t know what happened to me really, but I honestly no longer desire a partner. Of course I would like to marry someday but I’m at peace in my singles and actually quite happy to be single and to have time to figure myself out. Love this video and your content. Maybe it's so difficult to wait until God's time because everything in the society wants us to be our god. And we don't do it always conscious... We need to remind always, every day, who has the first place in our life, from the little things until the biggest ones. Thank you for sharing this, Sarah ♥️ I had a boyfriend for quite a few years, and we became a couple very quickly, because of my impatience... We shared so many good things and hobbies, but I often fell back to the feeling that there was something missing. He is a christian, but we never prayed together or read the Bible together, and it was so hard for me not to share the most important with him. We just didn't connect in this matter, for some reason, and it made me sad, frustrated, and sometimes angry as well. I tried to talk to him about it, but he didn't seem to want it to change, because I think his faith is so personal to him, and he is just not used to talk about it. It was so hard for me to decide what to do, and it took me six years to finally decide to let him go. There have been many regrets, and today was one of these days that I was thinking and analyzing it all over again, and feeling maybe I should not have broke up with him. Then this video popped up, and it made me move forward into peace again ♥️🙏 I want God's best for my life, and although it means waiting and trusting, and not knowing when, where, how or who, I am not rushing any relationship ever again. I have found myself these last couple of days loosing hope in a promise God made with me. I find myself loosing patience trying to do things in my own strength. I even began planning out my own future even if things were not well I began to settle and say well I have things planned out why wait. But I see God telling me how I am not waiting on him. Such a great word, Sarah!! I was so blessed by this. Sometimes we can be tempted to take hold of something because of our lack of trust in God’s timing. Instead of acting out of fear and worry like Saul did in 1 Samuel 13, God instructs us to wait on the His timing and direction like David did.

You have no idea how much your video blessed me! This is SO relatable, especially when you find someone who is great…and yet still not for you. If someone doesn’t treat you right, settling is rarely an option, but the chances increase so much when someone is a great person ! And yet..you know deep inside it’s not yours to be, you just feel bad about it and also scared you are not going to find better or you feel you are being so ungrateful. Not every opportunity, even good ones are from the Lord..and long term, settling is a disaster because deep inside we are frustrated and we know the truth even though we try to convince ourselves it’s all good..thank you! ❤️

about Adam’s allergies I just want to share my testimony, I got delivered from allergies completely praise God, I was allergic to cats as well, as to many other stuff, but God healed me completely. So renounce allergies and have faith, I believe he can be healed too, I just know it’s possible because I’ve experienced it ❤️
