God ask us not to lean to our own understanding but to seek his word and understanding and obey his commandments... I truly cant think of one prayer that God has not answered. Let me clarify, every time He answers my prayers, it's in His way. For example, a few years back i prayed for help for my drug addiction. Eventually, i went to jail due to a drug charge i got. I was in there for a month, but when i got out, i was no longer fighting addiction. God is our father and he teaches us lessons and he knows what it will take to really help us. 🙏💞

It is somewhat funny, in a sad way, how, even though God said to pray "in this manner"/"in this way"/"like" the Lord's Prayer, basically glorifying Him, thanking Him, etc., the SJ types which love repetition have to just repeat the prayer verbatim rather than recognizing it as an abstracted general form to fill in with specific thanks and specific forgiveness. Nope, just gotta say the exact same thing over and over, and half the time praying to dead people also, rather than God, because apparently God omniscient needs a bureaucracy to sort and funnel prayers to Him up a chain of ranked dead people and angels which the Bible says specifically not to pray to -- but it works out for the Catholic church to discourage really studying the Bible for oneself and pretending only a priesthood can understand anything and laymen are to remain ignorant of Scripture.

I wish that God and the things of God were not invisible! If I could even hear His voice talking to me it would increase my Faith and help me give Him priority in my life. I want God to be #1 in my life, but I live in this physical world and I am physical. And making something invisible and untouchable the primary concern in my physical life is very difficult.

I was blessed by the first two and they stood biblically correct except when you got to #3...Even Jesus asked in the garden of Gethsemane 3x for God to pass the cup of death from him...It doesn't show we have no faith to be persistent in our prayer and pray more than once about any subject...it shows God you really desire something. Three year's out of narcissistic abuse and been discarded by most of my family and friends. They all ganged up on. And my life has only turned around in last six months since I accepted I reaped what I sowed! And found it in myself to truly forgive everyone. Never thought I could. Kinda feel sorry them all. Been on my own about a year now. I wish to meet a real women who is sexy and believes in God like me. A Lot of Narcissistic people attend church. Wow God is amazing. So last night God let me to write down “How to pray effectively” and my three keys were to come in purity and righteousness(James5:16b) so repent for sins and don’t live in sin, to come with pure and unselfish motives (James 4:3), and come to him honestly and openly (Matthew 5:7-8) so come to him with authenticity. Wow look at God put it together here this morning. So it connects things. Blessing and prayer life extends from our actual lives and hearts. they go together in a way.
