I've been close to getting killed three different times in my life....2002...I had a friend I knew for twenty years I moved in with him and his wife in 2011 because I live on SSI and can't afford to pay rent... I've been a member of a church for nine years...in 2016 I got my friend and his family to start going to church and they got saved... they stopped going after three months maybe less...they smoke pot and drink... use God's name as a cuss word it's every other word that came out their mouths... around July 2019 I got a feeling that God wanted me to get away from and cut ties with them...the day after Thanksgiving I moved out...they got mad because I left...now I don't see or hear from them...I felt that it was god talking to me because I slipped and smoked pot and drink.. I wonder if this was god talking to me or it was just a guilty feeling because I slipped... what do you think about this...

This is what I'm going through. I could've sworn that I heard that God told me to leave one state for another state. A lot of stuff has happened with my family back in Texas and I wasn't sure if God wanted me to stay in Texas and be there for my family or if I should go back to where I was. This Word was on time! All three things apply to my life now. I was 30 when I moved to to city. I rip roaring and ready to make that money. Moving from the rural South I (no jobs at the time) was happy to have everything at my fingertips! I ended up idolizing being on my own and put it above God. Everything is convenient in the city, I wanted nothing out of place. I had my independence back and moved out of my family house faster than lightning. I didn't want to bothered with anything or anyone else. I am in college but I should have moved back to the suburbs a year or so ago. I spent more time with family, I was more disciplined, and spent more time with God. Trying to keep up with urban life for the past five years... my prayer life took a major hit. I now see I was chasing convenience over my relationship with God. To keep my relationship with God, I am willing to live a little further from school, get up a little earlier take a 30min train ride into the city, and pay a little more in the suburbs to have my peace. Praise God!

My point is that whatever I was meant to be was beat up, and thrown out, so that I was their automaton. And so I'm freed by God, I know, but I'm also blank inside. And, so then I'm like a 3, 4 year old trying to figure out who I am now, and I want to do this and that and how would I even know what God wants? I'm pulled in many different directions and thus frustrated. I do wait for God, but oh to silence the mind and spirit which is trying to get caught up is close to insanity.

I just came out of this season... Go to Job and Lamentations. Lament before God properly and pour your heart out to Him but do NOT hide any sins and be completely honest. He will restore you because He loves you. He is pruning you now, closing doors frees us from stress because our path becomes even more clear. :)

I could especially relate to this one. After college I held jobs similar to my field, but I wasn't really growing in them. I then took a random job, but had to part ways because it just didn't feel right. I'm now currently seeking employment again and I know I will probably have to take something local to continue to sustain a living. I know that in this season though God is growing me and I bet he is using me locally to refocus and eventually direct me to something in my field again, even if it means stepping out in faith to a new state.

This related to me on my college level. The path i'm on is difficult. I realized my major isn't what I think I want to study in college and I feel like I don't belong in that any more. I still have doubt on my calling as a career. I know my talents, but I don't know if its the college or just the fact that it's not the right major or path that may be designed to teach me best in the talents God has blessed me with. I plan to still seek God and start at my church and get plugged into my gifts God has given and see if I'll get a sign there. I'm just ready for a full on career breakthrough. Except my head pastor started our church at 17. He's now 28. But He was anointed & filled with His Spirit at age 4 & started preaching at age 5. And thank God he listened & obeyed even tho he didn't want to because without his prayers and the prayers of this body of believers who stood resolute on The Word and unbeknownst to me 2 years ago prayed me into the Kingdom while I was a dying Jewish atheist who thought Yeshua was fictional, I wouldn't be alive. Love this video. #2 resinates with me as I had no idea what God wanted me to do vocation wise until my mid 20's. I worked in a plethora of different job industries. Only working at a banking center did I find my true calling in security. But I had to learn technology first before I could get into that field. Now I am in IT Security. Its been a long and fun journey. 10 years later, He lead me on the adventure I asked for, and I have had the pleasure of working in many different fields within technology which has facilitated my understanding of IT Security. I'd be careful about the doubt thing. It's been my experience that the more you try to go the right path the more the enemy try's to plant doubt in your heart. Doubt is different then conviction. Conviction is clear, Doubt is filled with worry and fear. Doubt is the opposite of Faith so if your faith calls you a different direction that is a good thing to follow but don't follow doubt.

I knew it. I got my Class 1 Truck License in March of this year. I have gone on over 20 interviews and sent my resume to over 100 companies. I am still jobless in the world of trucking. It does not help that I am a female in BC, Canada. Female truck drivers here are at 3.4%. However, I always knew it was something else. God does not want this for me. It took me a while to figure it out and initially, I was angry at God as to why. I worked so hard in school that is so male dominated, was one of the best in my class, have an unrestricted license meaning I can drive an 18 speed, even my teacher asked me to use him as a reference and he usually does not hand those out lightly. The anger was huge as you can imagine. Moving forward to now, I am working on personal projects and have made the decision with God that I will either get my commercial aviation license or go back to uni and finish my nutrition degree. I now hold God with highest eyes and am so grateful to him for showing me something better. He now has to figure out how to make those things happen. Thank You for the video.

I struggle with this... When I listen it ultimately sounds like God is me because I'm am not relying on god at all with this advice. Its all up to me to figure it out. Gain knowledge and wisdom do this for yourself then with yourself decide. Sounds all like me, me, me. In all of my experience not once has a god moment ever been a moment where it was something that made any sense. None of the things I've learned have ever helped me in God moments. So because of this I definitely have felt lost for the last year. I can't discern what is God apart from myself and any other combination you might think of. I am at a standstill I don't get how to study further or what to read next to help further my faith. In short I have to figure out at what point do I just say whatever and have faith.

I am in need of some advice; earlier this year I started a relationship with an ungodly woman, but fortunately the relationship ended about 4 months ago. She was bringing me down spiritually, and she also didn't seem to put much effort in the relationship. She broke up with me though, but we ended in good terms. During the relationship, I would always pray for God to bless and protect her, help her in school/work, and to also bless our relationship. We haven't spoken since then, but I still care about her. Should I continue to pray for her? I'm mostly concerned about her salvation, as she is not a Christian. I have moved on, but I do still think about her, and I wish I didn't, because It might prevent me from moving on completely. But should I still pray for her, and delay from completely moving on, or should I stop praying for her, and just move on completely? I feel like the second choice is selfish from my part, and I know her salvation is not based on whether or not I pray for her, because it's her choice, but I know God can answer my prayer. Any advice would be appreciated. May God bless all of you :)

It's obvious you haven't moved on. I see nothing wrong with praying for nonbelievers but since you haven't moved on, don't let that girl feel like you have to keep that door (of a possible relationship with her) open. When a chapter is closed, it's closed. You need to focus on your relationship with God and enjoy your life in singleness right now and allow God to heal you completely from that past relationship. It sounds like you're waiting until she MIGHT be saved, to pursue her again and I would advise against that. You seem to be wasting too much energy on this girl, who is ungodly. You aren't required to keep praying for someone, when you've prayed many times for them. You've done your job. Please let God work it out.

I hate to admit it, but you're right; I haven't moved on completely, since I still pray for her, and still think about her sometimes. It's just that whenever I think of people going to hell, (especially people I know) my heart saddens deeply. That's why I was willing to pray, despite of me never moving on. I know God doesn't work like that, and wouldn't want me to be miserable, so I will leave it all to him and just move on. I actually asked myself if I was praying for her salvation just so we can date again, and honestly that isn't the case. I rather her be saved, and find another man who loves and follows God, than to be condemned. I will take your advice, and leave that door of opportunity closed, because I do feel like I have done my part, and I have used soo much energy, so I will let God take control as I continue to move on. Thank you for sharing your wisdom, as it did bring comfort to my heart. May God bless you and your family as well. (:
