I've made a couple of the first ones now, your tutorial is great. I'm just curious on the size of the beads...I looked, but can't seem to find what you recommend.

Hi thanks for your lovely clear descriptions and explanations. Have you done a tutorial on making a hammock to hang baby toys in?
@Bochiknot3 жыл бұрын
Not yet! But that's a great idea!

Since these will be going into baby’s mouth it’s Lund to get very dirty. What method would you use to clean them?
@Bochiknot Жыл бұрын
Same way as i mentioned in the beginning, use mild soap and water to gently wipe, and then re-coat them with coconut oil!

Where did you purchase the bunny ear shaped ring you used for one of the teethers in this video?

I just have concerns using the small beads that could end up being a choking hazard for babies?

Definitely

The beads don't really break easily and if you want extra strength on the cord, I would recommend applying a little glue under the gathering knots. It is always recommended that babies play with toys under supervision as well!

Is that the same bead you usually use in making macrame? Thanks.
@Bochiknot2 жыл бұрын
no - i believe I purchased ones that are treated specifically for kids toys

I’m trying to follow number 4 and can’t figure it out at all it’s going to quickly with no close up on how you’re crossing the cords and which ones you’re picking up

Try clicking on the "Settings" gear at bottom of the video and changing the "play back" speed to go a little slower or even a lot slower. I have found this to help when I need to see details. Hope it helps.

Yes if you can slow down the video just a bit, you should be able to see!

@@Bochiknot in tutorials you REALLY gotta go super slow especially if its sewing, knitting, etc
@DistortedLinds2 жыл бұрын

I love your video!!!! Just one thing...... It's not 287meters...... If it was than that would be 941,601 feet🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Besides that though, i loved the fact that you say the measurements in cm and in m this way I don't have to do the conversion 💓

this tutorial was so confusing, went way too fast and didn't display the knot names before doing them on screen, text is important especially since its hard to hear your annunciation. bead sizes werent listed so if someone used a bigger bead or different size rope that plays a huge part in the length of rope to use. the last teether tutorial? forget it, i cannot follow even with it slowed down
