Tony, Long time viewer first Question. I incorpoated a Co on March 23 for single/employee Director. I have no other earned income so want to allocate an optimum full year salary for 22/23 of about 11908 to utilise my PA. I believe I need to register with HMRC as employer for PAYE. Whilst waiting for the Employer ref no to arrive I looked at some free Payroll providers, and when I entered the pay details for the director as an employee it showed about 1.6k of Employers NI and 460 of Employees NI to pay even though the annual pay rate was for 11908. Do I need to register the salary with HMRC b4 05 April for HMRC to accept it for 22/23, if so how can I do this, if not though the payroll software ?

ISAs here in the UK are tax free but don’t know about USA I bet it’s taxed uk pay a huge amount of taxes but think the us is worse
