My grandfather used to be treasurer of Stenhousemuir FC. They have fans in Norway who come over for games. Tim Horton's has just recently appeared in Stenhousemuir. Where that stands, it used to be the McCowan's Toffee Factory. Famous highland toffee... which is why they have statues of highland cows across the road at the shopping centre. It was bought over by Nestle in the late 80's I think. It also used to do the popular Wham Bars.

I work in a care home, and decided (pre-restrictions) to see how many stadia we could hit in a beautiful summers day in 2019 We got Dumbarton, Vale Of Leven, Stirling Albion, Alloa, Dunfermline, Cowdenbeath, Murrayfield, Hearts, Hibs & Livingston all in 12 hours. Admittedly, we only stopped outside the ground for a photo but it was an amazing experience. I’m confident that, were it not for roadworks and our driver making several errors, we could’ve hit a good few more as we hoped to get to Glasgow on the way back. Even if it’s just for something to do on a nice day, even if it’s just to see them from the outside, I recommend a wee ‘Bound Around The Grounds’ as I decided to call it and it was something that our service users loved. The central belt in Scotland is an absolute gift for this.

Don't turn up on spec. Contact the club, explain who you are, point them to the videos you have on you tube and if they can, they'll probably work something out for you. Alan Shields Hamilton South Lanarkshire Scotland. Clyde originally played at Barrowfield Park in the shadows of Celtic Park Then moved to Shawfield Stadium in Rutherglen witch is more of a Greyhound Raceing venue than a football stadium and before moving to Broadwood Stadium 7 years ago Clyde board members voted to move to East Kilbride & change there name to E.K Clyde but this move never materialised in reality for what reason I do not actually know. I have heard a lot of people of my Parents generation say Clyde could have relocated to East Kilbride back in the mid 70's when East Kilbride like Cumbernauld was a rapidly expanding New Town in Scotland one of 6 Scottish So could New Towns. If you think of Clyde F.C a bit like Livingston F.C a nomadic football is serch of a much larger fan base as both clubs have moved about a fair bit in serch of a much larger fanbase but never actually finding it in reality sadly for both clubs. Clyde are known as Bully Wee one explanation for this is as follows. there was a Victorian phrase bully' which means first-rate or high standard. Clyde were considered first rate but were a small club and that led to them being referred to as the 'Bully Wee Clyde The second possibility is A rather more bizarre claim is that the club were visited by a group of French fans in 1900 and there was a disputed goal scored to which the visitors said "But il'y, oui?" (Their goal, yes) and the remark proved so popular with home fans that it stuck. The last explanation is comes from their early days in Bridgeton, where some of the inhabitants were known as ‘Wee Bullies’ and this was transposed into the Bully Wee. Stenhousemuir are known as The The Warriors always thought that was a good Nickname for a football club myself. You get a good view of .Forthbank Stadium, from just outside Stirling Castle on the hill leading up on a clear day. You need to vist Stirling again to see The Castle & The Wallace Monument one of 2 Wallace Monuments in Scotland the other being in my home village of Elderslie whare Sir William Wallace was apparently born so they say. People just call Alloa Athletic Stadium most people would just call Recreation Park When when we say Wasps in Scotland We say it more like WA - sps with the emphasis on the W & The A. You should go to Aberdeen next not jus pittodrie Stadium though Balmoral Stadium home of Cove Rangers how also play in Aberdeen how play in The Cove Bay Suburb on the South - East edge of Aberdeen. Cove Rangers currently play in Scottish League 1 after getting promoted from League 2 last season & The Highland League the year before they are a club that are definitely heading in the right direction on & off the pitch according to what journalists are saying.

Cheers Alan! Love all this info! Clyde seem like an interesting club. I really want to investigate them in a bit more detail and visit all the sites they've played on. It seems like there's a few! On Stirling, yes, I need to do a full vlog there! As well as Aberdeen and the North East!

@@FootyAdventures As regards Clyde they have moved about a fair few time & there has been a few time there has been discussions about them moving to East Kilbride aswell but with there being a lot of Celtic fan in E.K & there also being a lowland League club & Junior club there I just dont see the logic in that move at all think they would be better staying in Cumbernauld myself. The town centre is Stirling is very run down like a lot of town centres now a days but there is definitely someone interesting places to visit there. I was part of a paranormal investigation team back in 2008 & spent ot of time in that area of Scotland because we worked with a Spiritulist medium based near buy. Would say Stirling is more of a Rugby Union Arena than a football loveing one. You should probably vist Peterhead F.C aswell if you are heading to North East at some point as that is on the way up. Keep Safe. Watched a few of your older videos thos morning as my Mum is in Hospital seriously ill at the mo so keeping my mind off that as much as possible your videos help.
