Unless you’re working exclusively on instrumental music, you’re probably going to have to do some vocal mixing at some point and how the vocals are mixed in a track can make or break a mix.
There’s a million and one ways you can go about mixing vocals. There are lots of small pieces of information out there that you could slowly piece together over time and come up with your own vocal mixing method. And while there’s nothing wrong with doing that, I’d prefer you to get to your end goal much quicker without wasting any of your precious time.

You forgot to mention that the volumen/gain automation you're doing is pre-FX (before any plugin and the fader), because by default DAWs use post-fader automation, so it would be useless if what you want is to make the compressor's work easier and better sounding. Bonjour I am French too.... very nice song 2 questions: - why you use a preset for the deesser ? I thought it was better to look for the fréquences bringing the s and t up I use the EQ to do so.. I set the deeser to this frequence - why to boost a problematic frequence to over use after a deesser to take it off? Thanks for the video I was waiting for the part you show the use of delay and reverb

The more I dig inside this subject, the more I`m compelled to say: what makes a good vocal mix is... a good vocal. :-) BUT... In this case there was no need for vocal breath removal `cause the voice capture is nice as it is. Nevertheless, that`s what I usualy check in the first place (as well as undesired noises that might have been caught by the mic) and remove everything that might be unwanted. Than I do use volume automation and EQ as necessary. Compression normaly is the last step. IMPORTANT NOTE: it`s usefull to listen to each and every move in context with the rest of the song (get out of the SOLO mode of the vocal track(s)) so you don`t loose control over the mix...
