Glad to hear the Fanix is a solid bike... Having another serious 2T enduro bike in the market is only going to be good for all us off-road riders.

Hopefully more brands will jump in!

Coming to the US? That is FANTASTIC news. Hopefully that trickles into Canada as well! I'd love to get on that thing!

Definitely coming to Canada. Might already be there.

@highlandcycles Freakin awesome. Not sure how I missed it but a Google search pretty much confirmed it. Looks like it's time for my ageing double duty YZ250X to get fully MX converted...A Fantic 300 would be awesome for a new woods bike!

It looks like the low down power is too aggressive for expert hard enduro but hard to tell. Also, it sounds amazing, absolutely love the way it sounds.

I think if you put it in the soft map and added traction control it would be fine but the clutch is the big hold up

Hi Morgan, curious why your son is not going to ride your not going to ride his the YZ in Lucerne Valley. If I recall, when you first started the build and took the Fantic out for the intial ride, I believe your son said he still preferred his YZ. Has that changed or is it because you want to put the Fantic thest it out in harder conditions?

My younger boy is riding that YZ. My older kid is racing the Fantic

And yeah, somewhat for publicity but now we have it setup really well.

I live on 40 acres off grid, not to far east of where you were in Havasu. I originally bought a CRF450L with all the upgrades to make it work off-road, at the time I was mostly planning to ride off road trail and very occasionally ride the hwy short distances to get to places. As it turns out, I have been riding 99.999% off road and moving more towards trail, single track and intermediate to moderately hard endure. My bike is a beast so talk about a tired hand from all clutching required in the slow technical stuff. Not to mention, not the most nimble bike for single track/endure. Therefore, I will be following along with great interest as I consider a second bike suited for most of the riding I am doing. With Cody Web now on the Yam and indications that Yamaha was already looking at the off-road market. Add to that KTM’s troubles that very well may slow down their dominance in trail, endure off-road. I would not be surprised if something from Yamaha hits the market sooner than later. That said, the Fanatic may be a top choice. Especially now that your friend has a dealership in the work’s for the brand. I particularly took note of your 4 strongest likes of the bike, because they are perhaps the most important ingredients. Frame and suspension, Engine, fuel injection and electronics. One could argue, those are the foundation. Everything else in most cases can be more easily modified if desired. Thanks.

Do you like 4-strokes? If so, which would you prefer?
