Odd. have never had a power outage at my house the nearly 20 years I have lived here. Even with high winds or very hot summer heat. 70 mph winds are typical here in the spring time.

I spent a month in Tampa for work in June recently and LOVED IT. The wild weather was great, we stayed at a hotel on the waterfront. Woke up to a loud T-storm one morning. Loved Ybor City. Ny co-workers and military friends who live in the area will never move. Tampa may be the best spot on the Gulf Coast side. My only problem with it is the East Time Zone, horrible for sports, which really is not a Tampa problem (lol).

Pushing snow is good exercise. It on ly lasts dec to February. Flouride unbearable heat lasts may to October.. why do you like florida??

Where I live (not in Florida!), snow also happens in October, November, March, April, and sometimes May (and starts in August, in some areas. Lots of exercise! Hot weather is six weeks per year, maximum. This year, it was five weeks, Last year, it was two (had to put on the sweaters and start running the furnace in August).🌨❄☃
