back during original cataclysm I was about 10 minutes short of getting realm first paladin. What we did was dungeon spam stonecore to 82 then immediately just go questing. The people that went to other dungeons after 82 lagged behind

It's definitely worse to be 10 min away than 1 hour away when that announcement goes out lol. But yeah, I don't think we have to worry about being ahead of the pack too much due to layering and absolute garbage horde/alliance ratios on all servers.

Well the realm firsts will imo be ppl who prestack quests, then spam dungeons to 82 so that they can go aoe farm in deepholm into possibly Twillight quests/grind. But also keep in mind that you only need friendly for the tabard and most ppl will need items from multiple factions. So almost "any" tabard for start is fine and when the grps have eventual downtime while spamming HC's, you can always go back to quest a bit in another zone to get another tabard ready. Most "HC ppl" will farm up all reps quickly anyway, especially if we get delayed raid opening by a week or two again.

You realize at max level you get increased gold fron quests? More efficient to not quest until level 85 then do all the quest zones you need for the extra gold. You also wont have to worry about not meeting the ilvl requirement for heroics due to most of the gear from dungeons being 325-333 ilvl. Dungeon spam>do quests at 85> do heroics once youve done all your neccesary quest zones and obtained tabards needed.

I've always stuck to never quest on day one, maybe day two, then go quest. It seems to work decently well.

I don't think I necessarily would've wanted it right now, but I think it's a rather slow timeline and I would've wanted it this spring for sure, not summer.

I don’t know about you but I’ll be busy as hell with content at 85 in order to prepare for the raid release- last thing I want to do is go back and quest in deepholm.

@@Riyaniwowexactly, me and my guild got realm first sarth kill and it was us racing to 80 then doing all of our heroics each day for badges/pre bis. Bc you are locked to one run a day your prebis weapon or chest piece or w/e isn’t a garuntee so it’s just objectively better to have 1-2 more days of heroics for 1-2 more rolls on that slot machine

@@Riyaniwow Will it not be easier to quest in all the zones if you "over level" them when you're 85? Imagine saving a few seconds on every mob that you kill in every zone. Also if you're questing at 85 you're getting max amount of gold per quest, right?

If you queue for random heroic dungeon you can do as many a day as you want though, you will just have to get lucky with what dungeon you get.

@@sundertooth1666 When you get a bit of gear at 85, sure, but you do more damage in general the closer to 80 you are due to the stat scaling. Everything pretty much gets one shot in the early levels. Personally, the last thing I want to do at 85 is to go back and quest, but if you're going for a realm first 85 or something like that, going back to quest at 85 is def worth it rep-wise.

Are you sure that The Enchants are BOA and not BOP?

No I was mistaken on that part- they may change it specifically for classic, but on original it was never changed to be a BOA later in the expansion, unlike in wrath.

Here’s the thing. Raiding is generally locked until two weeks after launch. So it doesn’t matter if you hit 85 in a day or a few days. You still have plenty time to get in a descent spot before it begins. Same as in every fucking Classic expansion released to date thus far.

The Therazane reputation shoulder enchants were all BoP, not BoA. They were made BoA on some private servers.

I think they changed it for Sons of Hodir, so it would stand to reason they should do it for those.

@@meta1152 I actually went back to watch a 14-year-old video, and you're right. It's possible it was changed towards the end of Wrath to be a boa, but it being BOP makes me question my existence.
