I went total eastern on my hair. Better results, amla, chebe, fenugreek, henna, indigo, black tea, rosemary, mint, tea tree, aloe vera, rose, honey and castor oil. Don't have time for layering stuff with protein in every product in their line. And, I don't need to wet my hair every day or refresh. You live and learn.

Im in the same boat as you guys with that Devacurl Seaweed conditioner! I just used it 2 weeks ago but it's still full. Had it for over a year! TMC Cheers gel is #1in the line of the gels, that crystal orchid just flakes and flakes!

I choose jessicurl spiralicious gel over Curl maker. The jessicurl is my holy grail. Your hair won't shrink at all. I agree it is slept on. The curl maker made my hair shrink like no man's business. The jessicurl is on amazon

Hey!!! You picked one of my choices!!! Thanks for that. The DevaCurl vs. Uncle Funky’s Daughter gel. What’s funny is that I like them both. I use either... and sometimes both, lol. So I was wondering what you two would choose. If I HAD to pick though, I’d go with DevaCurl. And I use ArcAngel, as a type 4 kinky coily, normal porosity, colored coily woman. Kinda glad that I sort of stumped you a bit, lol. TA got a little flustered by this one. Even had to take a drink after! 🥰

Both of you guys look really great, your hair is on point. Didn't have much success with CRN Lavender gel. Never reached for it again. DevaCurl gels have glycerin and they are drying to me. Uncle Funky's Daughter Curl Stimulator does not and it not drying to me. OMG, I could not choose between Curlmaker and Spiralicious gels, I use both and love them both. Creme Restore the OG! I love the DevaCurl Deep Sea Repair, but when it is done, I will not be replacing it. I have some really good moisture/protein deep conditioners that I use. The Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair is one of those moisture/protein DC. I have also tried Hask Monoi Coconut Oil DC which is moisture and protein; it is as good as Briogeo and a little less expensive. i like uncle funky's daughter but i find that i have mixed results. I get consistent results with deva arc angel and ultra defining gel so i find myself going back to it

The Mielle gel is a big No. Works well enough for a day 1 wash n go, if you have nothing else in your stash, but day 2 is a joke. The Mielle Hawaian Ginger Line is a huge disappointment. Curlmix is a consistent Yes year round.
