Excellent technique… easy to understand. I see you’re holding the blow dryer with your right hand and brush in your left hand I will try this technique with my natural hair. Thanks again!!

This was such a helpful video. As someone who struggles with even sectioning my hair, I'll be sure to try out the techniques you mentioned. Are there drugstore alternatives you recommend for the products you used?

Where can I get that attachment for my Dyson? I blew out my hair for the past 20+ years like except not as structured and neat and efficient and always gorgeous soft silky volume that lasted a couple days. Can’t seem to get it with my Dyson. I think I need the attachment
@MoriahSeabrook
@MoriahSeabrook Ай бұрын
The attachment normally comes with the blowdryer. If you can’t find it, I think you can order a replacement from Dyson! Keep practicing your blowdries, I’m sure they will get more neat and structured with time!

What heat setting do you use on the blow dryer?
@MoriahSeabrook
@MoriahSeabrook 5 ай бұрын
I usually use full heat because I’m moving through the hair pretty quickly and I tend to get pretty frizzy! But if you have finer hair than me and/or your hair responds well without much heat then you can lower it!

What do you think about salt sprays for volume? 🙂 thank you
@MoriahSeabrook
@MoriahSeabrook 8 күн бұрын
I enjoy a good salt spray! I feel like it brings out body and texture, maybe less specifically for volume at the roots overall for fine hair but it can help!!

Would that shampoo and conditioner help with dandruff? My son has it bad and we have tried even medicated shampoo.
@MoriahSeabrook
@MoriahSeabrook 16 күн бұрын
The scalp solution line by Aveda could help with dandruff but I am not sure. Some of the reviews left on scalp solutions exfoliating scalp treatment said the treatment helped gradually get rid of dandruff. I would try the entire line (treatment, shampoo, conditioner and serum) to see if it'll help. Did the medicated shampoo help?

Hi! Ive written this on an older video. But I need HELP! Im new to hair tools. Ive had a waveing wand thing. And thats about it. Rearly use my hairdryer too. Just bc i dont see such a difference I feel like. Ive got nordic thin FINE hair thats frizzy and gets tangeled SO EASY! Long hair like your lentgh if not a little longer. Alot of flyaways. I struggle so much with tameing it. Ive goten a litte bit better in the last few years. But I often try new shampoos and conditioners just to see if I can find sometjinh better. My scalp gets oily about day 2 to 3. Often use dryshampoo alot of the time and wash once to twice a week. At night I sleep with my hair in a bun. It might make me get alot of shorter hair arround my face. But I cant sleep if my hair is down at all. Ive bought a dyson airwrap long, got it yesterday. And I want to learn how to get my hair healthier, styled and nice. And feel better about my hair. Any tips would be welcome!

How often do you brush your hair? Brushing your hair can help tame a lot of problems from making your roots less oily because you’re distributing the oil from roots to ends, hydrates your ends with your natural oils(preventing more tangling) and stimulating/exfoliating your scalp! I know this sounds so simple but so many people have gotten into the habit of not brushing their hair because we wash less and want our style to last- it’s sooo good for your hair and scalp though! I would also perhaps attempt a soft scarf or head wrap over tying your hair up at night because that can cause excess breakage on a regular basis making it difficult to solve your problem with flyaways! You might enjoy the flyaway attachment on the airwrap as well! I hope this is helpful 🙏🏼

@@MoriahSeabrook I brush my hair every single day! Often twice atleast. Morning and before bed. Since my hair is so tangly, I only use a tangle teaser. But I have a few teasing combs and a wider tooth comb. But I dont enjoy them. Since I get tagles when ever my hair is down. Even half up, half down. So I often wear ponytales. But should I use another type of brush then? To get the oils further down? Yes this was very helpfull! Thank you so so much Moriah! I appreciate you taking your time to answer my long questions. Haha

I know, it is crazy how expensive hair tools can be! This is the one I've used in the salon for the last 10 years. There are others that are less expensive and are probably comparable but I haven't tried many since this one meets all needs. Would you be interested in a video comparing round brushes at different price points? Thank you for watching and commenting 🤍
