Introduction (focus, purpose) Restate your research question Emphasize the timeliness of the topic (e.g. “many studies have focused on the problem x) Highlight a gap in the literature (e.g. “while there has been much research on X, few on Y) 2. @@basemenam8901 hi, you should find general themes and synthesize them together in your sources. Such as, author a,b,c say this, while authors d and e say this. Start with your theme, state what the authors say, and then state why it is important to your review of the literature (this is where you put your opinion).
