"If you don't want to talk to other people..." ha, relatable! My advice is, feel the fear and do it anyway. I am in the Intermediate Plateau in Spanish (need to watch your video about that!) but I am more open to talking to people now. I am in New York, so there are a lot of Latin people here. I just had a conversation with a lady at the store!

Hahaha very relatable 😂😂 Yeah I definitely get scared and have to push past that, but still I should try to be more chatty aha. Good luck with your studying, the intermediate plateau is soooo frustrating 😭

You are right language learning is not a marathon there is no starting point nor finish line there is no winner everyone's journey is different We should enjoy our language learning journey without comparing it with others because comparison can be a recipe for a drop of self-confidence and it's not useful at all.

I would love to have your recommendations of KZbinrs to watch. Especially if any have English subtitles!

I am studying English and Norwegian now, I am fluent in Italian. My target for now is to achieve a C1 in English and B2 in Norwegian. I will study Swedish and Danish in the future too. I am using Duolingo for learning the basic of the language but I will use other techniques to improve my level of knowledge of the language. What do you think?

This is exactly what I needed to hear! Other than the fact that I cant afford apps at the moment, i have learned that speaking out loud to myself,and recording myself has really boosted my confidence,and I am now sharing those recordings on KZbin 😂😂😂... It does ease away La PAURA 😂😂😂 Molte grazie

Hello. Thanks for new video. Awesome content, I love these video. Thanks to you I achieved already intermediate level in my English for 4 months. May I ask you? Why did you decide to move to Italy? Thanks for your feedback.

That’s awesome, congratulations on your English progress! I moved to Italy because I wanted to learn the language and I’m also pursuing dual citizenship because of my Italian heritage on my mom’s side of the family. 😊

Hi Shea , I am a Türk from Turkey and I have been following your channel for a few years .I don't know whether all the Americans speak as instructive as you or not😁 but I find the way you speak so appropriate for English learners to practice their listening skills . I wanted to make comment to suggest something for you to make in your channel. I think we all have understood how you learnt Italian and that's enough 😅. We from now on want to know more about "Italy itself". So please manage your contents in this direction and try to introduce Italy , its landmarks and amazing cuisine. If you proceed in that way , you will get more view no doubt 👍. But please don't make it in a professional guide vibe just do it sincerely and try to have fun and let us join your fun. No offense I just wanted to let you know about my thoughts. You are a native speaker of a language that has the most learners in the world so try to look at the issue from this perspective , you may be able to earn huge reputation . I really like both your speaking and accent and I am just thinking that your channel is deserving more reputation that's it. Keep sharing and speaking in the same wording😂 take care 👍.

Hi! Thank you so much for watching and for the feedback, however I really enjoy making language learning content and I don’t really want to make videos about guides to Italy. As a creator, I like to focus on videos that I enjoy creating. There are a lot of other channels that do informational videos about Italy and I don’t enjoy making videos about landmarks or food/restaurants haha. I’m not the type of KZbinr that likes to go out and make videos in public. I think a lot of people get motivation from my language learning videos and that’s what my channel is about. I appreciate the suggestion, but I would like to keep making content that I enjoy. Thank you! 😊

I didn’t like tandem. Hard to find serious people. Mostly men and many of them try hitting on you 🤦‍♀️
@SheaJordan
@SheaJordan 6 ай бұрын
Unfortunately yes 😕 But on Tandem you used to be able to choose only women, I don’t know if you still can. I found that better because I felt like I could actually just chat with serious language learners.

Hello talk had more creeps than tandem I've experienced. But one girl on tandem had a description that sounded like an OF and a profile pic of her tatas out and I reported her and she was taken down in 24 hrs. So tandem does take that seriously!
