I really like the content you have on this channel. Especially with this video. Many kids need to know this information about college recruiting. I redshirted and bullpen caught for LCC last year and remember playing you guys. You pitched well. You seem like a good team mate and leader for your squad. I am at SVC this year so hopefully we make it and meet at NWACs. Good luck this year brother keep up the good content hope this channel grows for you. Stay healthy this year God Bless

What high school did you go to? And any tips for the whole Pierce connection? Help please! Great content btw I love the updates too

Hi mac i am a fan of your channel and a baseball player myself. I am 5'9, 143 pounds and j have been playing baseball since 8th grade (im going to be in 11th grade this year) and i am just average, if not a little aboclve average, at baseball for my age. Now this past sophmore year season i plated varsity, but my stats sucked completely. I now play summer league and fall league (i played fall league last year). Although my skill set is average and my stats sucking, i am the smartest guy in my grade, in fact top 5 overall out of 110. Now my question is, is it too late for me to reach out to any college coaches and give them my summer stats, or even wait until next spring season to send in my stats to coaches and update them on a regular basis. I am not D1 material, i just love baseball and want to play college ball. Thanks

Hey Mac I life down in the southeast and trying to get looked at by coaches all the way out west.(California, Arizona, etc) I've sent emails to the schools I'm interested in. Should my next step be calling them or should I wait to see if they email me back?

Mac how hard do you throw and if you are trying to play ball for a certain school would it help to get accepted academically first?
@willie49597 жыл бұрын
Hi Mac. I'm currently a junior pitcher on varsity, but I won't play much because of how good our pitching is. I'm not bad either. I throw high 70's to 80. I am a very good student. Do d3 schools care about how good at baseball you are if you are a very good student? Thanks!

Hey, I just finished my first season of Highschool baseball as a freshman. I topped out at 86 at the beginning of the year and feel that I might be at around 88-89 now. ( haven't been clocked since) I'm 6 ft 170 pounds. I'm going to a few showcases and a Vanderbilt camp this summer. Do you think I will get any interest? And do you think it is reasonable for me to be trying to go to Vanderbilt? Thanks
@Mr_Lahey7 жыл бұрын
Storm Hierholzer if you get up to mid 90s by your senior year you could get drafted one kid down here throws 95 and is only a junior and is expected to get drafted 1st or 2nd round
@claytonguzdial68417 жыл бұрын
Dose it truly matter what type of college you go to like d1, d2, or d3 to possibly get drafted
@santiboy11277 жыл бұрын
Mac McCarty i heard somewhere that most get drafted from d1 and juco, is that true?

I am not going to any perfect game showcases, and I am a sophomore in high school who doesn't yet know if I am going to be on JV or Varsity. Should I only seek college coaches on varsity, or which year is best to put my stats out there? And should I seek them at all if I am not playing showcases? Thanks
