I can do Axel off ice, but I can’t do it on ice, the feeling is different😢, any tips?

Hi! When you’re doing it on ice, how are you going into it? Honestly once you get those skates on and have more momentum, it’s so much easier for little things to pop up! I know for me when I would be stuck, I would just go for it and trust that my body remembers the movement. When you do it off ice and on ice are the entries the same?

Shelly Skates On ice, I going into the Axel from stand still position. While off ice, I will add a hop before I jump the Axel. I found it is more difficult to jump up high on ice, the feeling of jumping up on ground is more secure. I just don’t have the confidence when I jump on ice 😢
