First up, we have the 1992 D Lincoln Penny. This coin holds a special place in the hearts of many collectors. It features Abraham Lincoln on the obverse and the Lincoln Memorial on the reverse. But what makes this coin special is its rarity. Due to lower mintages and limited circulation, it has become a prized find for collectors. In good condition, this coin can be worth anywhere from 75 thousands dollars to 89 thousands dollars or more.
Next, we have the 1983 D Lincoln Penny. This year was significant because it marked the end of the copper composition for one-cent coins. In 1983, the U.S. Mint transitioned to a copper-plated zinc composition. The 1983 D penny is particularly valuable if it's the copper version. If you find one, it could be worth up to 95 thousands dollars or more, depending on its condition.
Moving on to the 1982 Lincoln Penny without mintmark.mint from Philadelphia mint This coin is interesting because it comes in two varieties: the large date and the small date. The large date is more common, but the small date is the one to watch for. In mint condition, the small date 1982 penny can be worth around 50 thousands dollars to 60 thousands 500 Dollars. So, always check the date when you come across a 1982 penny."
Finally, we have the 1984 D Lincoln Penny. This coin is a great example of how subtle differences can affect value. In 1984, the U.S. Mint made changes to the size of the 'D' mintmark. The larger 'D' mintmark is less common and more valuable. A 1984 D penny with the larger 'D' can be worth 89 thousands 400 dollar or more.

This is such an inaccurate and just wrong. 59-93 all pennies should have a close AM. All 94- present pennies should have a wide AM. It's referring to the a and the m in America on the back or reverse. The 1982 d small date penny is a transitional error which means that they changed what pennies were made with that year. Only the Denver mint was making the new pennies, there should have been none of the old pennies made at the mint in Denver which means all d minted pennies should weigh 2.5 g and that's what he didn't tell you to know if it's wrong it's only 3.1 g it's going to feel heavier.

Did anybody notice how the monetary amounts were written $.75,000 and $.89,000.....what's with the decimal between the dollar sign and the first number? And wtf is seventy five "thousandths" dollars? If a "hundredth" of a dollar is ¢.01 then a "thousandth" of a dollar is less ¢.001. or am I just stupidly confused? Do those monetarily amounts even make sense Lol?

QUESTION: I have a STRANGE 1 cent piece . It is almost twice the thickness of a normal penny and slightly smaller. My thought was perhaps they start out thicker/smaller and after struck they are thinner/larger. But the building on the back and the Lincoln looks unstruck. It looks like it was sanded on the front/back. But if it where sanded it would be thicker and not thinner than a normal penny. You can see the outline of Lincoln, and the Lincoln memorial, but the face is flat and shiny like it wasn't struck deep enough to imprint the image. It's a 1978, all the writing is there, the outline of Lincoln and memorial is raised, but no detail. It looks sanded even the butter ring/rim, but how is it almost twice the thickness if sanded? I am wondering if this penny was just not struck with enough force to fully imprint and flatten it out?
