I think BF1 has one of the most memorable and impactful opening sequences of any game I've ever played. Definitely one of the most well put-together ones too, it drives home the futility and hopelessness of the war.

From the perspective of true art, it's the best video game I've ever played. Maybe ever made. The soundtrack is Oscar worthy, the voice lines were perfect, the immersion and atmosphere was perfect... Every other game I played I feel my time could have been better used. With that one, zero regret.

Battlefield 1 has such a beautiful soundtrack. Flight of the Pigeon is one of my personal favorites and it reminds me of Black Bess. 😔

I don't know the name of the song, but it slowly builds and then breaks into hauntingly beautiful Arabic vocals... That gives me chills every time. I would just sit on the main menu and soak it in.

@@markbyrd7710 Did you mean zajdi zajdi? Its a makedonian song but the singer is Aliye Mutlu, a turkish singer. You can search in youtube. Also in the game version of the song called "dawn of a new time" (Sorry for bad english i am from Turkey too ;)

Man, I'm actually just finishing up Far Cry 5, and hearing that right off the bat caught me off guard, but 100% the music in that game is fantastic, and I haven't heard many people mention it. Glad you not only brought it up, but did it justice.

FARCRY 5 MAP/MENU MUSIC THANK YOU. dude. when i played this game i would literally go to work and pull the menu music up on my phone and listen to it with my coworkers (we were customer service reps) .... there was something super super instantly classic and nostalgic about it.

Ori is not underrated. Not by a long shot. It's one of those few games that is both beloved by critics and gamers alike and its soundtrack is pretty famous too. I love Ori, but calling it underrated is not true. The two games have both been huge successes.

@@Nichrysalis when I say underrated I mean in the bigger sense. When people look at story based games, most of them stick to AAA games like fallout or assassins creed series, or the elder scrolls series, or witcher series etc. You know, RPGs. Compared to the popularity of that category of games, the Ori series (and other platformer games like those) tend to be overlooked in some cases.
