Dear Ollari, if you get yourself a negative rake blade your cutting of aluminium will become a dream as you cut it like butter and with smooth edges. Thanks for sharing your ideas on upgrading a drill press to make it more useful. Cheers.

That wold be great. And also a flat tooth blade for cutting rabets. But sadly i can’t buy anything else than the regular ones in my country.

This is why I like your channel. You are very creative which inspires me to be more creative with my builds. Thank you for that! We think alike. I just received the same flexible hose in chrome for this exact purpose but was trying to think of an easy way to attach it to the pillar of my drill press. I love the use of inexpensive aluminum that you can manipulate into whatever shape you want. I had thought to use a U-bolt but thought of maybe using hardwood to attach the tray but I like your idea of using the aluminum better. Clever!!

Speaker magnet to hold the chuck key to the side of it. Just go to some music store and grab one out of the dumpster or ask if they have some in the back. They are great for that and on the fridge too. They hold a couple pounds and are free !!! Also, put some bar soap on your hacksaw blades and files when cutting or filing aluminium as it keeps the filings from filling up the teeth.
