Like everything you have done here but don't see the reason for the sacrificial insert being round, as a square or rectangle is so much easier initialy and to replace, or am i missing something here, loved the alternative sounds and couldn't help noticeing the plywood hacksaw so will have to look at more of your videos.
@Ollaris3 күн бұрын
Thanks! The reason is you don’t have to replace it so often. You just turn it a bit to get a fresh place to drill.

use a squirt bottle with lacquer thinner spray it between your solid surface plywood lawn and the sheet the laminate will peel right off that it dry for a little bit respray with contact or roll and reapply it's nice if you stick a couple of dowels or some pieces mini blinds over the contact adhesive and when you lay your sheet again that just pull on the mini blinds or the dowels and that sheet will lay nice and flat start one end.

It is better to be made of natural wood so that it does not crack.

Great design! Probably should have put the table on the other side for better access for changing the wire, but very awesome overall.

I am looking to do this as a bench and I have cushions. I need it to be further back in depth. Could you insert the back into the last slot instead of the second to last one?
@Ollaris2 ай бұрын
You can, but it wouldn’t be comfortable as the back rest would be at the wrong angle.
@fancyandfreeoutdoors2 ай бұрын
@@Ollaris Do I have to angle it? Can it just be straight?
@Ollaris2 ай бұрын
@@fancyandfreeoutdoors yes it can be straight. But it’s uncomfortable.
