I have 4 love birds, one of them is same like your Loki, and I named him also Loki. They live free in my backyard, and every day they came inside home at 6 pm all 4 and always came happy and singing. If I give them new food and they hear the sound of the food they come very quick to eat🐦

I have 1 lovebird. My husband found a woman throwing away a bunch of lovebird hatched babies, so he took them from the trash. Note, my husband was in a wheelchair at this time 6 years ago. He managed to save Robyn, the male of the bunch and two sisters died. He hand trained and mouth fed this bird, and Robyn let's phil and I hold him, kiss him, he can turn upside down and show his belly, if phil grabs him he holds still. Never bites, tried to not poop on you, and purrs when you cuddle and pet him an hour before bed at 9pm. Love these birds but can't imagine having two... Robyn is territorial enough as is

Bro I brought 2 love birds only now 5 days finished. They are very scared whenever I am going to give food in their cage they will go to the corner. I put 1 small plate with water for bath I don't know whether they take bath or not. But they are eating and drinking water. Also I put 1 small wooden cage attached to the main cage for their laying also they are not going inside. So they will get familiar with these or not.

One thing I seen people say is let the bird bite, don’t pull your hand away when they bite, so that they see your hand isn’t a threat. Now I can do these with my lovebird because her bites aren’t that painful and also when she bites me I think it’s more of try to chew on something, because she doesn’t look aggressive and doesn’t seem like she’s attacking. She still doesn’t let us touch her though. Also try to over the bird your arm instead of your hand. If your lovebirds bites are serious, it’s up to you if you want to endure the pain, I personally couldn’t.
