Can I really get vibrato with exercises, because I've actually been practicing for 5 months and my voice is still straight?

Not sure its possible really, it doesn't seem a result of a technique or some specific practice, it just gets out for some singers, there are famous known singers who almost never use it in their singing, i tried almost any practice for vibrato and i still cant control it

I want to add that i started to produce more of nature vibrato once i took care of strain in my throat when singing, muscles are stiff that shouldnt be engaged, for me it helped me to open my mouth more when i sing to release tension
