Story 3 is a very common one. I know a american guy who travelled to the Philippines regularly and met a nice. They fell in love and he brought her back to the states. As soon as she got her visa she disappeared without trace. I think women who do this, Thai, Filipino, etc should be tracked down and deported.

Morning Pete. I finally got around to listening the this weeks’ instalment of stories. These were great and as usual interesting, it still baffles me how these girls can rip off sone guys for tens of thousands of $. I’m curious though as to how they learn to do this? Many are very young with no or little education but they are brilliant at psychology? Thanks, take care and keep safe. Cheers 🍻

Looking well Pete, everyone coming to Thailand should take note of the last story, I've always said, Thailand is a great place, but make sure you have decent insurance, if your riding a scooter, make sure your covered & wear a helmet, its not the place to be on the wrong side of the law or being in a serious accident that your insurance won't cover you for, if your on a bike or driving a car, be on your guard as other road users will change lanes, u-turn or pull out in front of you, with out any disregard to you or any other road users, it is nothing like your home country.........

Great stories well read out Peter, the third story I felt his pain sorry for him this is why never trust many Thai woman wouldn't' surprise me if she was from issan, my friend did similar he went to visit his girlfriend in Thailand 4 times then arranged for her to travel to his home for a holiday she agreed he sent the money to sort the visa and flight money then she changed her mind she needed money to build a wall around her land that's where the money went never got a penny back, remember the person that sends and gives money is the one that looses out financially the woman never makes a loss and for them it's always a winning scenario they put nothing of value on the table, the 4 th story if you have been riding motorbikes in your own country then take that experience to Thailand and double the dangers on these roads you will eventually end up riding a totally different way to your country as crazy as it is it works I've been riding motorbikes 20 years and had to adapt and except the Thai way of riding I have just ordered a KTM from Bangkok I stayed there 3 days to sort everything out they asked if I wanted it delivering to udon thani or to ride it back I said deliver please I will not ride in the crazy horrible Bangkok I just hate that place traffic is congested constantly very glad to leave Bangkok yesterday not my sort of place

I was a born again biker in the Philippines, fell off and had to pay 300k pesos for titanium femur reconstruction. Docs and hospital were great, bank balance is not so good anymore. If you want cheap transport buy a tuk tuk which is safer than a 2 wheeler cos let's face it the balance of an oldie is not as good as when we were young.

story 2: that was the best touting story on your channel. although he got scammed out of 10k baht, he did meet a 10, the most attractive he's ever seen n later sans clothes too (although he stayed loyal to his marriage). 10k baht + bar fine + tip is a bargain for a once-in-a-lifetime. how many men have lied in bed with a perfect ten?

No, but they expect you to pay for their entire family in Isaan. When you get there, you'll notice men lying around not working. And they always have plenty of beer. They expect the eldest daughter to hook a farang and pay for 40 people with his money. If you can't, she threatens to go back to the bar. It's emotional blackmail and is the standard practice even if she does like you.

The guy in the second story sounded judgemental to me and i find that offensive. If he is going to look down on the Thai people then why did he bother to come ? Just my opinion. I had moved to Thailand and lived here about a year when i decided to buy a motorcycle for transportation. I had learned to ride while stationed in the Philippines many years before. You may never forget like riding a bicycle but i can tell you i scared the hell out of a few friends that rode with me. Took me a few months to become a proficient rider again. I had bought a motorcycle instead of a scooter. One day my wife and i were going to check on some furniture she had bought but hat when the time for it to be delivered they did not show up. As we were driving along a scooter came towards us on wrong side of the road on the shoulder. I sensed something was going to happen and slowed down. Just as the scooter got even with us he suddenly turned and came across in front of us. I had no time for anything and hit him straight out. This cut his scooter in half and we all went down. He was drunk and not injured, so he jumped up and ran off. I broke my left foot, left hand, some ribs, had a concussion and multiple cuts and scrapes. I had not been knocked out but my wife had. Some people had tried to pick her up but i told them to leave her where she laid as i did not know if she had back or neck injuries. We were within sight of the hospital but after about ten minutes an ambulance had not arrived. A guy who had stopped offered to take us to the hospital so i said yes. They loaded us in the bed of his pickup and drove us to emergency. The hospital staff came out with a wheel chair for me but i told them to get a stretcher and take my wife first, which they did. In emergency room they were attending to me and my wife as she was laying on a bed nearby. She woke up and asked me what had happened. She had a bruise on the side of her face, across her eye and down her cheek that was a mixed of colors from black, blue and purple. I told her we had had an accident. She laid back down but about five minutes later she raised up and asked me again what had happened. She had a brain injury causing short term memory loss. The hospital informed me she also had a swelling on her brain they were not equipped to treat and suggested she be transported to a hospital in Bangkok. I agreed and they brought an ambulance to transport her. They loaded her up and had a nurse t6o attend her and i went with them as they had finished treating my injuries. We went to the hospital and she was admitted to intensive care. I went home by taxi that night to get some rest and pick up some things i thought she would want. On the way home i didn't realize i had a concussion and was telling the taxi driver to go on the wrong streets. I finally made it home and got a good nights sleep and went back to the hospital the next morning. My wife was awake and the doctors explained what treatment she needed and i told them to do whatever she needed. She didn't like the hospital food so would send me to the food vendors on the street to buy what food she wanted. She was treated for three days and the doctors said she could go home. I went to pay the bill expecting it to be enormous. It cost me $67 for the three days. I found out it was one of the King's hospitals for Thai people. When we got home she would tell me something and then come back and told me she had told me. I quickly picked up on the fact she wouldn't remember so would tell her she had not told me. Then she couldn't remember if i had told her or not. This was great and i played it to the hilt for about six months. Then she came up one day and told me she had told me something. I looked at her and told her she had not told me. She looked me in the eye and said YES I DID! The game was over she had her memory back, but it was fun while it lasted.😁
