I like the slick affect since it will reduce scratching when washing and drying.

I've used GP boost for a couple years because of the easy application and the sickness is like Teflon but I've never applied it as a stand alone only as a topper and drying aid. Thanks for the test I belive it's rated for 6 months so now I want to do this test since I have some that's over 1.5 yrs old and a new batch I just got in. Thanks for the testing.

Isn't one of the goals with GSF or any pre wash supposed to be to break down sealants? You would reapply things like GP Boost after using GSF anyway, or am I missing something?

GSF is supposed to be a neutral soap so, NO, it’s not supposed to strip. Every soap is different so u have to know which prewash u pick out and what it’s used for. U don’t always have to reapply sealants if using PH neutral soaps and that’s the point of them. Stronger prewashes should help with breaking down dirt and debris and some really strong ones may weaken your sealants. Hope that helps.

@@DetailingBreakdown Ok gotcha. Just curious because at 10:59 you said it was roughly 7 on the PH scale which I figured would be strong enough to strip sealants. I looked up the product description and it says it is PH neutral.

@@FinancialStorm7 most stronger start at 9ph and go to 12 or so.

@@FinancialStorm7 pH 7 is neutral, higher would be alkaline, lower would be acidic

Don’t want to be a jackass, but I have to say, if a product’s hydrophobics are afectes by GSF, the product is absolute trash.
