A husband must also protect his wife from himself, from his anger, his irritation, from rage, from verbal or physical assault on his wife. ectr
@framboise5952 ай бұрын
@agnesseenika5345 A wife must SUBMIT to him in everything. If anything , it is women who have to be protected from themselves , from their chaotic rebellion. Why would a man hit a submissive wife who brings him good every day of her life ( Proverbs 31) ? What you saying makes no sense as usual. Because making it all about the woman is satanic as can be. The BIBLE which is scorned and mocked by those who claim to follow it always makes marriage about the husband first . Always.

Hopefully this helps y'all.... When I have issues with my wife in any area I go in private and ask Jesus how I can better love my wife in actions & words. My focus is not to fix her but my focus is for me to become more like Jesus would have me be and by doing that I fully give God permission to work on her. I don't know anyone's personal situation so I can't judge what a person should or shouldn't do in these situations but I can say that by focusing on ourselves with Jesus we aren't bothered anymore by others. He changes us so that the situations don't change us. When we move then it's because He moved us and not our problems or situations we face. Some things my wife does might bother me but because of the Holy Spirit I realize that if I lean more and more into Jesus then those things bother me less and less. Jesus loves us even when we don't love Him. He treats us good even when we don't treat Him good therefore we should lean on Jesus to be able to do the same for our wives and for women their husbands.

@ Real Comms Except that it is the woman who is made FOR the man . Not the reverse. So , focusing like crazy on the so called husband's role and his 100 000 000 duties is what has uttelry screwed marriage in the West , especially among Christians. Western Christianity has been hijacked by feminism and that awful female self entitlement for decades and is just dying slowly because of it.

@ Edward Kwok In our Brave decaying Feminist New World , men have 100 000 duties and zero rights and women have 100 000 rights and zero duties . The Bible portrays women as made FOR the man , submitting to his wishes and adapting to him in every way. We are light years away from the Bible but it's ok . We don't do things God's way anymore and we wonder why marriage fail. Marriages were strong when WOMEN were taught their duties and were firmly rebuked for not being dutiful wives. Now that the emphasis is put on men , it is a DISASTER .

Thanks Mark. This is really hard scripture for men. Hence why I feel so few men are here commenting. Any man gleefully who looks forward to his role as husband, without some fear and trembling is a good indicator he might not fully understand what is being asked of him. He does not understand he is accountable to the Lord on how he serves or fails to serve his wife. Again thanks for preaching the hard stuff.

Mark, Ephesians 5:22-33, is pretty clear and you explained it with excellent examples. Now, I've observed how the word "submit" makes many modern women, misguided by extreme feminism, have jaw clenching experiences decorated with major frowns! From one girl to many out there, let me say this...Ladies, it's not that serious! Instinctively, as women, we want our man to be to be the head of the household-and I'm not talking about a paycheck (in today's expensive world, if both can contribute in the household which allows for a balanced interaction within the relationship, then Amen!). I am referring to the initiative that is within the man of wanting to protect us and care for us as their woman...we want that. Some may say "Oh, I don't need a man like that", but when reality hits, they think opposite. I think we forget that submitting to your husband is a voluntary act...it's not slavery. It's when the woman says to her husband, "I trust you". The essence of this is remembering that we as women have to be careful who we choose to submit to. If I am to submit to another human being, i.e. man, then I need to make sure he is submitting to someone who is higher than him...I need to make sure he is submitting to my Father/Abba..God Almighty(this is where the equally yoked command is useful guys and gals!). I mean, think about, why would I want to play the role of the man and the woman? It's a lot to handle! Just one verse to keep in mind when applying Ephesians 5:22-33, in my opinion, would be I Corinthians 13:4-8, this goes for both man and woman.

It can come across as abrasive and off-putting. I don't believe you intend to come across that way, so maybe you can work with someone with advanced experience in public speaking who can give you tips on how to moderate that. It can be very distracting and I think you'd get even more views without it. Thanks again for your ministry! :)

I have been studying servant leadership by Robert Greenleaf and it is a good description of what you were talking about. I am a single mother and I am trusting the Lord to lead us and protect us. There are a lot of wolves out there, pray for us. God has miraculously provided everything that we need since I am alone. I am blessed by your videos. I dont know if God has a husband for me, pray for His will in my life. God bless You!!!

I love it. As a Christian man,a child of God through Christ,i feel it in my spirit. To be a husband is to be a servant aka to serve. Now even doe this video is to teach the husband, please take note that in Ephesians 5:22-23 it says wives submit to your own husband AS TO THE LORD, FOR THE HUSBAND IF THE HEAD OF THE WIFE EVEN AS CHRIST ID THE HEAD OF THE CHURCH💯 ave you have pastors that preach on this part of a woman part or being a Christian wife🙏🏽 take this video to heart women/man, but also look at videos about what a woman position is as a wife. God bless in a Jesus name, Amen

@JayBeenCbosen Do you realise that women marry up and scorn servants ? Do you really think that if Jesus had taken a wife he would have turned into a servant and let her rule over him ??????????????????????????? What a blaspheme !
@crystalwhite47994 жыл бұрын
Thank you my brother for sharing. The problem is exactly what you said most of the time and that is to many believers "listening" to the world's views and ideas first over the Bible and what God/Jesus said. In addition, it is "not" just for a husband and wife to read in the bible the various scriptures that pertain to their role and responsibilities, but to understand from "Jesus's perspective" WHY he is telling the husband and wife they have to do these things. I can read something and say I understand it and do it based on my understanding, but it's another thing to understand WHY I'm really doing it.

When a wife has to take a secular job, then it is a high risk of being in comparison with the husband, but ought to be careful to use it wise in one accord. Preferably, the man should sustain his wife and family so she can be able to take care of the great responsability of raising kids in the fear of the Lord, and also keeping the house for the family.

Hi. Is a Christian husband meant to provide for his wife. My husband is always attacking me as I work part time . And I do the chores at home. He is mean to me. Why is he that way. Isn't he meant to nurture me as his wife and enjoy providing for his wife. He is becoming bitter and resentful. And he stops his wages going in the account that I have access to. He wants to leave me with nothing

My partner who is 44 has been in and out of work since we met, he’s always on his phone playing games and I feel there is little time for me to the point he has told me to wait for a hug so he can finish what he’s doing on his phone. I have had to take time off work to clean the house as he doesn’t do it. His money is his and he doesn’t contribute to the bills as much as I do then he complains that he doesn’t feel the house is his as well. I am not religious but I am spiritual but he is, when he isn’t on his phone playing games he is reading the Bible. He throws tantrums when he has to feed the dogs and I’m feeling used and not loved at all! I looked this up in hope to find something to shake him out of his crap! I do love him but am wondering why I should stay with someone who won’t step up to be in a partnership and not a dependent. I am slowly being dissolved into someone I dislike, unhappy and not happy to see him anymore! please help!

I just don’t see how a man can be with a woman that knows more, knows how to lead better, has more wisdom,etc. It puts the man under I fee like. Honestly i love this woman but she is wiser, and knows more. I feel so under qualified.
@Autumn-rain777 Жыл бұрын
In God’s Word, it never mentions anything about the husband having to be qualified for the role. He is called to it and equipped for it through his faith in Christ. She may be wiser but she may want a man who is willing to make the tough calls and take responsibility for the well-being of the household. A leader isn’t someone who is most qualified in all or even most areas. Even if she makes more, is she a good steward of that resource? Would she find it admirable to find that in a man who can teach her and lead her to be even better in all these different areas. If in danger, will you put yourself in between her and whatever may hurt her? Will you protect her heart and prioritizes her needs? Then there is no reason to feel under qualified. It’s easy to focus on our shortcomings but with further reflection and trust in the roles God gave us as men and women, we can see the values we bring to the relationship.
@framboise5952 ай бұрын
@@Autumn-rain777 "and prioritizes her needs" Unscriptural at its highest. The Bible never ever tells men to prioritise the so-called needs (so many imaginery needs we have as women !) of their wives to the detriment of theirs. To avoid sexual immorality , let every MAN have his wife (..) 1 Co 7:4 Where have male sexual needs gone in that pathetic emasculating churchian world ? Men do get marry because of their sex needs first. If they have none (which is quite rare) , they don't need marriage . Was not Paul clear on that ? Churchians just tell men that they exist to please females when the BIBLE teaches the exact opposite , that the woman exists because of the man and was created because of HIS special needs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The scripture that comes to mind (to answer your question) is that a man should love his wife as Christ loves the Church, a Big Assignment! Come to think of it, maybe it's not so hard to spot an appropriate man to marry: he's the one who understands and models this Bible verse ~ and very few men would do this, so he will stand out in a crowd !!

@ Marge Rose So convenient isn't it ? Making it all about the woman in order to butter up that evil female pride Eve displayed in the garden of delights ! How about loving LIKE Christ for a change , that is : "To whom I love I rebuke and discipline " Revelation 2 How many men still rebuke and displine their wives if necessary today but they are told that they love like Christ lol Big emasculating joke.

@@feliciasteffitanaya4588 lol How does Christ "love" his church ? Whom I love I REBUKE and CHASTISE book of Revelations chapter 3 This is HOW Christ loves his church. Big assignment isn't it ? lol Those female-pleasing teachings are so pathetic , so weak , so petty , light years away from the Word.
