Wow that's a lot of glue and you can add press one with gel bonder. aka: base coat. For the see through press ons anyhow.

You need to etch the natural nail and the press on tip, dehydrate and prime the nail before apply the tip with acrylic to the natural nail. It also needs to be done quickly, so it doesn’t set.

UV gel glue is the 4th option. You can cure the nails once they are transparent enough

You aren’t supposed to use uv gel with pressons especially since they aren’t transparent so you risk getting infected from under cured gel

It's not filing like that, just buffing the nail ligytly with a file to add a bit of texture so the press on can adhere better, it shouldn't take any true thickness

Any age. Younger children I'd suggest that you ONLY use those sticky tabs because all other applications are semi permanent and it's not suitable for children.
