What kind of glue did you use? It doesn't look like pva glue, as yours kept its shape, while pva glue is more liquidy
@artcraftblog3 ай бұрын
It's was a general school glue, from a local store! I'd say it's pva. Not Elmer's glue, so it can also be just the quality! It did keep it shape initially but as I noted in the video it kinda started losing it after a while!

Hi there! Depends on the composition of specific brand, but if it's mostly just cornstarch and talc - sure can 😊

Is it important to use a scraper
@artcraftblog4 ай бұрын
Hi! Thank you for watching! What do you mean, when you suggest using a scraper for thickening the paint?
@adamblackshaw9151Ай бұрын
Adding organic material will likely reduce the paint's longevity. Not very archival, if that's important to you.

You are 100% right, I believe I mentioned that in the article too :)

Hey, can we use salt? plss answer
@artcraftblog5 ай бұрын
Hi! Sure, but it won't give a lot of texture and if you use water with paint salt will dissolve. It can create some effects when sprinkled on washes though. Some particles will remain but some will dissolve.

what if you add flour
@artcraftblog7 ай бұрын
Hi! You can! Flour, starches, baking soda can also be used to thicken the paint and give it texture. However! Flour is food and not a professional medium so we can't know how durable the mix will be and if it will crack or not.

What kind of sand?
@artcraftblog6 ай бұрын
You can use any :) there are brands that sell clean sand, I honestly used the sand from my beach, I happened to live next to one. It's volcanic sand so it was black :)

what if we add cornstarch ?

It is indeed one of the methods I mentioned in the article :) The video only features my 4 fav methods, but I actually list 18 in the full article (link is in the description).
