I learned a lot of stuff from this guy. 6 years ago when I started my window cleaning career I felt a bit lost... then I found these guides and suddenly it all became a lot easier and faster. Now there's no job I can't do at least 3 different ways...

I had never seen it done before, but I was watching one of Squeegee Life’s videos, where he used a 0° and went up one side to the top, and then made a side pull across the top once( or twice depending on height)and then that allowed him to fan the rest of the window. I have found that works super slick. I find it great with the Moerman at 10°.

I have been doing my local mcdonalds inside and out. theres tables in the way. I really like swinging that angle back more. I never use the 40 degree anymore. -10 is my favorite. holds the back angle just right i feel like it just drags so right.

I like using the Moerman Fliq. You'll save alotta time by not having to switch between scrubber and squeegee and not having to detail edges.

Hey SteveO, What is the best extension pole to use?
@windowcleaner Жыл бұрын
Hi! You can call/text SteveO at 970-214-9522 to grab his opinion. In this video, he's using a XERO Carbon Fiber Trad Pole : windowcleaner.com/products/xero-carbon-fiber-pole-trad-pole-2-0

Pole tips are not interchangeable between brands unless you can utilize an adapter, such as the XERO Carbon Fiber Trad pole that has a XERO Trad Adapter. windowcleaner.com/products/xero-trad-adapters

How long do some of those poles get and is it reasonable to use them on interior windows that are 20+ feet high? Like high access interior windows
@windowcleaner4 ай бұрын
The XERO Trad Pole comes up to 20 feet (plus your reach), we don't typically recommend using this specific pole any higher just based on its design. However, if you give us a little more information, we can make a better recommendation like the XERO M9, which is 21'. In Texas, the window would have dried already. Gotta be faster my boi.
@windowcleaner Жыл бұрын
In Texas, we would suggest you utilize Hi Slide, or GG$ to combat the dry nature of the air. In NY, we have this horrible thing called humidity.

There was no need to delete my comment, was there? It was made in good faith; and if you disagreed with it you could've just said so. I've got broad shoulders.

Not sure what you are referencing, here! Sorry for the confusion!
@johnough4893 Жыл бұрын
@@windowcleaner I was referring to whether you had tried using "Optimum No Rinse" to wash windows. I had some left over in my pump sprayer after washing my car and used it to spray the outside of a kitchen window - with very good results. I then washed all my windows with ONR in the pump sprayer. It was quick and easy, didn't streak and I had no suds to get rid of afterwards. I only mentioned it as, being a professional window cleaner, you may have been interested.

Yes, but the key is when to use what method. Straight pulls in the sun on a hot, dry day ain't going to work.
@windowcleaner Жыл бұрын
Great tip! If you utilize a slip agent, such as Hi Slide, you can use the straight pull method as long as you are efficient.
