As a restaurant owner, in the Austin Area, I think you skipped a large component of these virtual concepts-profitably. Can these virtual restaurants actually be profitable for small business? I have my opinions having done a dozen or so concepts myself. It seems more this was an advertisement for the sponsor, rather than a video to help restaurant owners. Unfortunate, because I’ve always found your content to not be misleading, but this video was.

I love your insights! If you make your own online orders for your existing brand, do you still use third party for delivery? Let's say for a fast-food; poutine, smocked meat, hot dogs etc.

I mean, unless it scales really fast, I wonder if paying someone to make the deliveries is really worth the money saved buy selling directly on my website instead of going the doordash way?

It's definitely something you'll need to weigh out to see what's better for you. You might get better reach/response by being on the 3rd party apps but you'll pay a little more for sure. Dawn - Team TRB
