4 wd modified Invacare Ranger x wheelchair

This is a Invacare Ranger x or two modded out too 4 wd using 2 modules 4 motors 1 joystick tires are are 4.00 x 8 primo foam filled labac recline acheived 9 to 10 mph

How'd you wire it all to the joystick and does it work the same? Eg, zero turn?

Hello i wired the mudules in parallel and had to program the modules all in all it worked but in the end was a failure as it drained the batteries way to fast and I couldnt keep the modules from tripping out and shutting down

@@tfell05 That's what I was thinking would be happening. The chipset in the joystick isn't gonna stand for such a radical change. I wonder if you might get away with connecting the motors in parallel instead, right to right, left to left, and trick it into not noticing

Hello I did build this and it may look cool but it was a failure as i could not keep the motors from triping out

I have my old wheelchair and am hoping someone can help me figure out how to get it to go farther than a normal wheelchair can go. I'm not so concerned about speed or off roading but I really need to be able to go farther without fear that my batteries will die on me. I will for the most part be on sidewalks. Yes I spliced a second connector the joy stick controller cable
