That's amazing that you were able to register all those early symptoms so quickly! I found out I was pregnant when I was nearly 7 weeks, exactly a week before my fiance planned on proposing the poor bugger! The first thing that signaled something was off was maybe about three weeks before I randomly got really dizzy and fell over out of nowhere. I didn't think anything of it, randomly said in jest to my to my partner "what the heck would we do if I was pregnant?" and we laughed and brushed it off. Sure enough on my way into work a few weeks later I got off the bus, threw up everywhere, bought a test from Boots and ran in and told my manager I thought I was pregnant before I'd even done the test lmao, idiot move. Two years later I'm chasing my little girl around and I LOVE IT. Aghhh, so excited for you. I always look back on those early weeks with such fondness, even though you're ill and sore and crazily tired that magic in the air is irreplaceable. Sorry for rambling! Can't wait for your next update!

Congratulations to you both!! It is the most wonderful thing :) I too, had very bad anxiety, i had a previous loss, so every little twinge or cramp made me have anxiety attacks. Was horrible. BUT, the best piece of advice i can give you, is to literally enjoy every day, every second of being pregnant, at the time, it feels like forever, but it flies by! Each moment is precious, and although it is hard, really hard, it is so so worth it. Try not to think of the negatives, and focus on the millions of positives, i know that is easier said than done though. You've got this! x

I knew I was pregnant because i felt a pain I Hadd never felt and was told I probably felt my baby planting in the womb. I think some women just know even before test. I'm so excited for you both and just enjoy it because my daughter now 6 months and it has flew in I don't even know how it goes so blooming fast

Oh by the way, something most never get to know, after you deliver baby, you don’t get to rest, you will have to deliver the placenta too, and you will have “aftershock” post delivery contractions every time you think of your baby for at least the next 3 days!!!! It’s a rollercoaster physically and emotionally but it’s worth every moment.

G.M. The umbilical cord is attached to the baby and the umbilical cord is attached to the placenta. The placenta is attached to the uterus wall. Normally the contractions continue after baby is born to expel the placenta. The placenta needs to come away on its own, and fully. If it doesn’t come away fully on its own, the mother will bleed heavily through it and to save her she would need to have an operation very much like caesarian section to remove all of it. Even if a tiny bit of the placenta is left behind, severe bleeding and infection are pretty much guaranteed, which is why women are monitored to make sure they have fully expelled all of the placenta. If you want to see the severe risks that can occur if someone attempts to “pull out” the placenta, google it. Hi. I'm 29 weeks pregnant and so much of what you are saying is so relatable for me. Faint line. I knew by week 5. Felt off. Fatigue. Smell sensitivity. Nausea. Boob pain. Try not to worry. It helped me to think how early I found out and most ppl don't know at that time and still do some bad stuff and they are fine and their babies are fine.

With my first I was kinda more chill. And then with my second I was a MESS I think because I had followed a load of mums online who talked about their losses and stuff. I have awful anxiety and pregnancy really is a test. But it's just the greatest feeling in the world. You're growing a person! It's mad. I found the first few weeks of pregnancy so stressful. You have nothing (apart from sickness) to show that you're pregnant. It gets much less stressful when you can feel baby moving but then you get the new stress of is baby moving enough lol. Advice for the nipples would be wearing a snug-fitting padded bra (sports bra is good) that you can sleep in too. I found the constant pressure helped a lot. You and Alex will be awesome parents :)
