120 Days At Sea living from our little boat and exploring Australia's most remote Islands and sections of the Great Barrier Reef.
Before we started 'The Castaways' it was this trip that changed our lives forever.
Strick had just been sacked, so we planned a 1 month adventure... 4 months later we eventually rounded the Northernmost point of Australia.

If a croc grabs you Strick whilst you're swimming around at night Fran will swim out to you to fight it off. Some people I know told me a place was okay to swim in because if a croc grabbed someone it only took someone else to jump in to scare it off. Well so we went swimming there and later on an old Aboriginal women had a look of shock on her face when warning us not to swim there. Salties can go far up into fresh water. I don't do things like that anymore.

I'd suggest laying fish into a hot oily pan away from you, i.e. put the fish down on the hot pan and let it lay into the pan in the opposite direction to you to avoid oil burning you. Basic cooking tip.

Love what you guys do......my little girl is obsessed with the ocean, obsessed with the outdoors and constantly asks me if we can go and camp on a deserted island somewhere and do what you guys do!! We are city gals...living in Sydney's eastern suburbs, there are heaps of beaches but no where near the paradise you guys explore!! There needs to be more education out there like your channel educating people and kids about sustainable living!! I need to find these amazing places to take her someday!!
