Could you just use a four strand female hair brader?

Actually haven't tried that but have seen videos, they should work but manual braiding only takes 10-20mins

My first braid came out perfect. I had a little user error by not tightening it enough towards the end. I can resolder if I want. Overall this 4 wire cable braid is the best. Instructions were perfect.
