Golden Rule of investments “ do not invest in baseball cards , toys , and comics” .. I’m sorry but this modern push for 9.8s and CGC Only will actually led to a crash in comics as a whole. Enjoy collecting key iconic issues for sure but this desire for 9.8 only takes away from the joy, impact, and history of a particular issue . CGC as a Mindless corporation is evil and has this hobby by the ballz . Just my taughts not a personal attack.. I did enjoy seeing all the cool titles:)

Didn't Wolverine fight Sabertooth in uncanny 212 in 1986? I've never read it but on the cover its says WvsS round 1. I used to have Wolverine 10 myself in 9.8 and I always thought it was the 1st fight too? Until recently anyway. Great video as usual!

I got lucky I was able to buy a Hulk 180 Mark Jewelers variant last year for a descent price. Prices for anything X-men related is off the roof.

Hulk 340 is the poor mans and I say that loosely as they are not cheap but kind of like a Hulk 181. This book in 9.8 is going to be a 5,000 book soon enough. And the newsstand now that’s a gem in 9.8

I recently acquired a low CGC of X Men 98. I researched on it and to my surprise its the first time Wolverine is unmasked. It's like 3 years after Incredible Hulk 181. Why is this issue not on anyone's radar? I didn't even know that and ive been into comics since the early 80s. New subscriber! I enjoy the videos.

i have alot of these wolverine comics 1980s if not all of them and I'm not really a comic book kind of guy. my dad left them for me said he hope someday they turn out to be a good investment. and he's been passed away for four and a half years now. they're like in plastic protective covers and in really good shape or id say extremely good condition. what suggestions do you have for how about finding out what they are worth. ive seen a few of them online but the price is inconsistent they vary on each one .have no idea of how to tell where mine fall in price

X-men 133 has a solo Wolverine cover, but the rest of the team is in the interior story. X-men 162 from October 82' is a lone Wolverine story from cover to cover.

I just want to point out how many variants there are, especially with the Wolverine mini-series. So are the numbers of 9.8’s in circulation just for that particular direct edition and price variant? I’d assume that would matter.
