Looking forward to the JMRI series and how to configure it with DCC EX command station. Thank you for your series on the build which I found very easy to follow. Best one on you tube by far.

Thank you very much for your kind comments. I'm really looking forward to making some videos about using JMRI with DCC-EX. That is my normal setup. I will be working on the first video soon which will be a general introduction to how JMRI works and how you can use it. Then I'll dive into installing it, using the Decoder Pro app, setting up JMRI throttles, and then using the WiThrottle and Engine Driver apps with it, as well as some other types of hardware controllers. So look for the first video in the next few weeks. Thanks again! DD

Fantastic Video, I've been following along with your progress, from video to video, you have really brought DCC-EX alive, my original controller was made from Gregs software. I have to admit I have been fooling around with DCC for quite a while and have found your videos answer many questions. You're an Excellent instructor. It's great to see this series. Thank You

Thank you again for your kind comments. I recall that you mentioned you had used DCC++ before. I was not active in the hobby at that time, but when I look at what Gregg created, it's really pretty remarkable, and was the seed the grew into DCC-EX and the community of people making and using and talking about DCC-EX today. Thanks again, and have fun running some trains! : ) DD

Just found your channel today and have watched your entire series, which has been extremely informative and pleasant. Amazing job, and I can't wait to see more. Thank you for the great history lesson and the confidence I could create a dcc layout without seeking exterior help.

In my next series I will discuss the basics of JMRI and show how we can use JMRI to manage our locomotive roster and interface with DCC-EX to control our trains. Thanks again and enjoy! DD
